Largely extracts from the minutes, correspondence (chiefly with Thomas Mifflin, governor of Pennsylvania) and other documents, from Aug. 25, 1793 to Dec. 26, 1797, which recommend preventive measures, quarantine regulations, etc., and set forth the opinion of the College that yellow fever was imported into Philadelphia from the West Indies
Includes two memorials of the College (pp. 9-11; 27-30) regarding health legislation, addressed to the Pennsylvania legislature, dated Jan. 26, 1795 and Dec. 5, 1797
Two states of gathering E noted. In the first, the last three words of line 9 on p. 33 are "not be equal"; in the second, "were not equal"
