Summary edit

Description
English: The Lost Battalion Hall Recreation Center, on the north side of Queens Boulevard at 62nd Avenue in Rego Park, Queens. Originally built as a WPA project in 1937 or 1939 as a VFW and American Legion firing range, it was taken over by the Parks Department in 1962. It was named after the Lost Battalion of the US Army 77th Infantry during World War I by then-borough president George U. Harvey, who served in the battle.
