English: Site of former Redmarshall station, 1995. View SE, towards Stockton etc.: ex-NER Shildon etc. and Ferryhill - Stockton etc. secondary main line. The line had been electrified (Shildon - Newport Yard) 1916-25, and still remains open for freight, but the station was closed and the passenger service (Ferryhill - Stockton) withdrawn from 31/3/52 |
