SIR HENRY DETERDING; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 6 uit 1939.; Een terugblik op het leven van de Nederlandse zakenman sir Henri Deterding (1866-1939) en zijn begrafenis op zijn landgoed te Dobbin, Duitsland. SHOTS: - portret Deterding; - Detering op het feest tgv van zijn zilveren jubileum bij de Koninklijke Nederlandse Petroleum Maatschappij (oa in tegenwoordigheid van dhr. H. Colijn) in 1921; - zijn vertrek per koets na zijn benoeming tot doctor honoris causa in de techische wetenschappen in 1929. - Deterding op een vergadering, oa in tegenwoordigheid ir. de Kok (toekomstig directeur-generaal) in 1934; - Detering op het feest op Huize te Werve in 1936 bij Rijswijk tgv zijn zeventigste verjaardag en veertigjarig jubileum bij de Koninklijke, waar een groot aantal buitenlandse gasten aanwezig is en Detering oa een toespraak houdt; - het landgoed Dobbin in Mecklenburg, Duitsland, waar Detering zijn laatste jaren doorbracht; - de lijkkist wordt naar de "Chapel Ardante" gedragen. Na de plechtigheid wordt de kist op een wagen geplaatst en in een lange stoet naar het kerkhof gereden waar de teraardebestelling plaatsvindt.
