| Description |
English: The bus stop at Ryde Road, Seaview, Isle of Wight. It was for Southern Vectis route 16, but when photographed, on 19 December 2009, it was the last day of the 16. It was replaced by the 8 in the new timetable the next day, and the bus stops had been changed over a few days early. Route 16 was run with small single deckers, but due to high loadings elsewhere on the route, the 8 is run by double deckers. Pending the painting of double-yellow lines by the Isle of Wight Council, after an agreement was reached to prevent buses getting stuck, from the new timetable starting 20 December 2009, the 8 temporarily didn't serve this stop, going only as far as Somerset Road. As of April 2010, the "temporary" diversion is still in operation. |
