Description
This is a scan of Volume 007 of Short Stories

containing three issues (July 1891, August 1891, and September 1891). While it doesn't have covers (or ads - or the table of contents) for the individual issues, it does have a nice scan of the original publisher's bound

volume binding with the magazine logo on the front cover.

The stories in the .pdf have been bookmarked for ease of access. With

the touch of your mouse pointer, you can instantly go to any story in

the bound volume.

These early issues of Short Stories are far different from the later pulp issues of the magazine that most of us are familiar with. It was closer in format to its contemporary, The Black Cat, but unlike that magazine it relied more on reprints and translations from foreign publications than original content.
