| Description |
English: Smyril is a wooden rowboat from Vágur, Faroe Islands. This photo was taken at the Joansoka Festival in Tvøroyri on 25 June 2011. They are on their way out to the starting point. Smyril became number three in this boat race. The final boat race is at Olavsoka in Tórshavn at 28 July. There races are every summer around the islands in June and July.
