Nederlands: Beschrijving Interieur van het atelier op de bovenste etage van het appartementencomplex Jan van Galenstraat 291-295, hoek Hoofdweg 403 Het geheel was uit architectonisch-esthetische overwegingen gebouwd, maar was onbeschermd tegen weersinvloeden (s zomers een broeikas, 's winters kletsnat'), terwijl de belichting 'onjuist was door de tot de vloer doorgetrokken ramen'. Foto uit een serie over atelierruimten van Amsterdamse kunstenaars, behorende bij het voorstel van de N.V. tot exploitatie van atelierwoningen en tot de bouw van atelierwoningen op een terrein tussen de Rijnstraat en de Waalstraat. Naar aanleiding van dit plan werden de atelierwoningen in de Zomerdijkstraat gebouwd. Afmetingen: 12 x 17 cm. |
