Summary edit

Description
English: Sign at the south end of the western passageway of the Main Batthouse at Sunken Meadow State Park between Fort Salonga and Kings Park, New York. Though the park was originally for swimming and similar recreational use, in the latter portion of the 20th Century, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has decided to promote it as a park oriented around environmental education. Here we have a sign offering to compare the arm span of human beings of all sizes and ages to those of various birds. I'm not sure if my "wingspan" measures up to an Osprey, but I do know my arms are pretty long.
