De Franse madame Brunet verricht de doopplechtigheid. SHOTS: Mevr. Brunet arriveert op de werf en krijgt van een meisje in Volendammer kleding bloemen aangeboden; een priester zegent het schip; mevrouw Brunet hakt met een bijltje een touw door waardoor de fles champagne net niet hard genoeg tegen de boeg valt; het schip glijdt van de helling.
