Description
Svenska: Tyska kyrkan, Stockholm. Interiör. Altartavlan i Tyska kyrkan, Svartmangatan 16, Gamla stan, Stockholm. Altaret i barock är nästan 10 meter högt och är skapat av Markus Hebel (död 1664) från Holstein i Tyskland vid mitten av 1600-talet. Kungaläktaren, som är försedd med ett säteritak, har ritats av Nicodemus Tessin den äldre. Ursprungligen svävade läktaren, som är krönt av Karl XI:s monogram, fritt på pelare. Senare har den nedre delen glasats in och är numera sakristia. I övre delens innertak finns en målning av David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl.

Der Altar im Barock ist fast 10 Meter hoch und wurde Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts von Markus Hebel (gestorben 1664) aus Holstein in Deutschland geschaffen. Das Nebengebäude, das ein Herrendach hat, wurde von Nikodemus Tessin d. Ä. Entworfen. Ursprünglich schwebte der von Karl XI. Gekrönte Stand frei auf Säulen. Später wurde der untere Teil eingeglast und ist jetzt Sakristei. Im oberen Teil der Decke befindet sich ein Gemälde von David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl.
English: The altarpiece in the German Church, Svartmangatan 16, Old Town, Stockholm. The altar in Baroque is almost 10 meters high and was created by Markus Hebel (died 1664) from Holstein in Germany in the mid-17th century. The outhouse, which has a manor roof, has been designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder. Originally, the stand, which is crowned by Karl XI's monogram, floated freely on pillars. Later, the lower part has been glazed in and is now sacristy. In the upper part of the ceiling is a painting by David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl.
