You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Bilder rörande Kongo

Hej! Jag har lagt in bilder från ett antal böcker som rör Afrika och som ligger nära det du laddar upp. Du kanske sett dessa kategorier på Commons Le Congo belge Vauthier, Stanley Founding of the Congo Free State, Story of the Congo Free State, Vingt années de vie africaine? Jag funderar lite på namngivning, kategorisering och någon metod för att bygga upp kunskap om en bilds historia (den kan ha återanvänds flera gånger).--Edaen (talk) 11:55, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Oj, många fina bilder! Usch, kategorisering är himla krångligt, enligt mig bland det svåraste på alla Wikiprojekt. Jag brukar bara välja kategorier som liknande bilder tycks ha, eftersom jag oftast är för lat för att skapa kategorier själv, men kategoriträden känns tyvärr ofta väldigt vildvuxna och godtyckliga. Något som jag saknade var en kategori "People(s) of/along the Congo River" eller dylikt, eftersom jag själv inte vet vilka folk som hör till vilken sida av floden (Brazzaville eller Kinshasa). "Stanley Pool" och "Stanley Falls" vore kanske också bra att ha som egna underkategorier till Kongofloden, och kanske även årtionde-kategorisering, typ "The Congo in the 1890s" osv. Vidare kunde man kanske kategorisera bilder efter Stanleys olika expeditioner, de var väl en del? Namnet på en fil tycker jag inte spelar så stor roll egentligen, så länge tillräcklig information finns i filbeskrivningen på sidan.

Jag har följt ditt Kongo-projekt lite på håll både på svenska Wikipedia och Wikisource, och tycker att det verkar väldigt spännande. Hör gärna av dig om du behöver mer hjälp eller bolla idéer. Jag är visserligen ingen större expert, men intresset har jag. /Jssfrk (talk) 15:56, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Hej. Vill bara tipsa om att BBR-mallen tyvärr blivit ett snäpp mera komplicerad. Den kräver nu att (som andra parameter) man anger vad för typ av objekt dom länkas till (dvs. anläggning, byggnad, miljö), oftast 8r det anläggningar. En bra tumregel är att nummer på 214 är byggnader, 213 är anläggnignar, 212 är miljöer och 210 kan vara vilket som. /Lokal_Profil 16:42, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

BBR uppdaterade nyligen (dvs. förra oktober) sitt numreringssystem. Resultatet är att det nu kan (i teorin åtminstone) förekomma situationer där samma nummer används av både en byggnadspost och en anläggningspost (eller miljöpost). Som ett resultat har den tidigare enkla länkningen försvårats för nya objekt. Dvs. gamla objekt fungerar ändå men t.ex. anläggningslänken för Blåherremölla i sv:Lista över byggnadsminnen i Skåne län kräver den extra parametern. Jag har redan lagt till parametern överallt på Commons och sv.wiki så det är bara framtida länkar som du behöver tänka på =) /Lokal_Profil 18:44, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Om detta var felaktigt beklagar jag, men att tillstånd fanns framgick inte av bildbeskrivningarna. Hej Jssfrk!

Jättekul att du vill vara med och fota på Söderstadion! Jag har pratat med Hammarby och de kan ge oss ackridetering till de matcher vi är intresserade av. Jag föreslog att vi ska skicka ett par stycken som tar bilder under hemmapremiären som går av stapeln 14/4 kl 14:00. Låter det som något du skulle vilja vara med på? Jag har (återigen) redigerat vissa av dina bilder (inskickade mot WLM tävlingen)

Jag upptäckte nu problemet med vissa av dina uppladdade bilder på fornminnen (som är anledningen till att jag tidigare redigerat mallen för fornminne för dem). Av någon anledning har mallen Fornminne lagts in med litet "f" istället för stort "F" vilket gör att bl.a. det verktyg jag använder för att scanna inflödet av bilder inte visade något ID nummer för dessa bilder. För referens hur det skall se ut, se Template:Fornminne under Usage. Jag rättar nu upp den mallen i aktuella bilder utifrån det här.

Jag återställer originalfilerna tills vidare, så kan du ladda upp dem igen med ett nytt filnamn. I september genomför vi fototävlingen Wiki Loves Monuments igen.

I år har vi till den svenska deltävlingen lagt till ytterligare en kategori med objekt du kan fotografera, nämligen arbetslivsmuseum. Vi har även passat på att förtydliga instruktionerna för hur man deltar. För mer information se tävlingens hemsida.

Det finns gott om fina priser och tio av bilderna går vidare till den internationella finalen. Så varför inte delta i år igen!

Du får det här meddelandet då du tidigare har deltagit i de svenska deltävlingarna av Wiki Loves Monuments eller Wiki Loves Earth!

Den 1 september inleds 2022 års svenska deltävling av Wiki Loves Monuments, där det skulle vara väldigt roligt om du ville vara med och delta! Målet med Wiki Loves Monuments är att fotografera svenska kulturarvsmonument. De kategorier som ingår är byggnadsminnen, fornminnen, kulturmärkta fartyg och fritidsbåtar och arbetslivsmuseer – och du är välkommen att bidra med bilder hela september.

Du får det här meddelandet eftersom du tidigare har bidragit med bilder till de svenska deltävlingarna av Wiki Loves Earth eller Wiki Loves Monuments. Jag hoppas att du vill vara med i år också! Som vanligt ingår naturreservat och nationalparker, biosfärområden och naturminnen i tävlingen! Nytt för i år är att vi utöver bästa foto även belönar fotograferande av tidigare ofotograferade objekt samt bästa bildserie om minst tio fotografier av samma objekt. Tävlingen börjar 1 maj, och pågår under hela maj månad. Om du har varit ute i världen och rest kan du även se om resorna sammanfaller med övriga internationella deltävlingar, och i så fall vara med och tävla även där. Expeditioner, fotosafari eller en helt vanlig promenad? Via en smidig karta som visar ditt närområde hittar du bra ställen att besöka – eller varför inte damma av fotoalbumen och tävla med bilder du har tagit tidigare?
