English: Very simplified block diagram of a écoduc (wildlife crossing / overpass) constructed as overpass on a road (with form as a "diabolo").
Français : Schéma de principe très simplifié d'un écoduc (passage à faune) contruit au dessus d'une route (avec forme en "diabolo").
En réalité des aménagements adaptés aux animaux et organismes que l'on souhaite voir ou faire traverser sont faits sur ces passages. (arbres, buissons, mares, roches, bois-mort, etc.). Ce type de passage n'est généralement pas ouvert au public, car l'odeur humaine ou l'odeur laissé par les chiens peuvent faire fuir certains animaux. Des protection limitant le bruit et l'éclairage artificiel, ou les pinceaux lumineux des phares sont souvent installés en bordure de la partie supérieure du passage. |
