Summary edit

Description
English: The end of the footpath leading to the boardwalk on the beach along Long Island Sound at Wildwood State Park in Wading River, New York, which also contains a series of restriction signs. The Long Island Sound is at it's usual autumn high tide on this day, which is the reason for the closure of the beach. Believe it or not, if you follow Google Maps (and probably some maps before the early 20th Century), this trail was considered part of North Wading River Road which begins at Sound Avenue in "downtown" Wading River, runs along the north shore and ends within the park.
