Description
English: Lifeguard station and first aid facility within the canteen at the east end of the boardwalk on the beach along Long Island Sound at Wildwood State Park in Wading River, New York. The bathrooms are off in the distance to the east, and the entrance to the refreshment stand is around the corner which puts it even further out of view. All facilities at this canteen are closed for the fall and winter, and considering the high surf battering the boardwalk at the time, the closure is a good idea.
