Description
English: A bus stop in Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey, situated at the junction with York Road. When seen it was served by routes 34, 71, 462, 463 and 548 as they head into Woking town centre. Most bus stops in Surrey fitted with Real Time information (the Surrey scheme is called Suretime), have separate units, which are installed inside the bus shelter. This bus stop is unusual in being one of a few across the county having the display incorporated into the bus stop flag. Seen here is a workman, holding the bus stop flag cover in one hand, while working on the display with the other. This display had only recently been set up at the time. The display has been quite unreliable up until when this was written in March 2011.
