Summary edit

Description
English: Audio recording of the eerie call of the Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoo, a large cockatoo that inhabits much of south-eastern Australia, from the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia to south-east Queensland. Its call sometimes sounds similar to that portrayed in some sci-fi movies as emanating from the pterodactyl. However, in this recording, it mostly sounds like a horse's whinny! It was recorded at Thirlmere Lakes near Tahmoor, New South Wales, Australia.
