While I'm sure it matches the posted coordinates, I don't think this map is quite accurate -- the video (File:Flight1549CrashAndRescue.ogg) shows the plane hitting the water several blocks north of the Intrepid museum... probably across from streets in the mid-50s (the museum is on 46th Street). This map currently shows the plane a minute too early and 400 feet high at that location. I don't know if there is any more accurate information anywhere -- hopefully more info will be posted when the black boxes are analyzed. Carl Lindberg (talk) 20:22, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I see also in the video at 8:20 the Concorde from the Intrepid Museum. So the flight data could not be correct. In the last file version I moved the crash point more northward and have drawn in the line of the 48th street. I hope for better flight path data in near future. --S.
