This user is able to take beginner quality photographs.

I have an older 35mm film SLR camera with both a wide angle and a zoom lens, but I only have a low quality digital camera that takes snapshots.

Given time, dictionaries and online translators I can sort out the meaning of basic French. Whether I could write a coherent answer back in French is another matter entirely but I would make the attempt.
