I come from Sønderborg in southern Jutland, Denmark. I am living in the village Porkeri, Suðuroy, the most southerly of the Faroe Islands. I was very quickly fascinated by these tiny inkspots, far out in the North Atlantic. After many hectic years in the building industry, I now work on a freelance basis in the tourist sector and write articles about the Faroes and Denmark for Wikipedia.
