Hi, I'm Evan Amos.

I'm a photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. Born in 1983, I grew up with video games and am a passionate fan of gaming. In 2010 I started taking pictures of video game consoles for Wikipedia articles, releasing the photos into the public domain and offering them at full resolution. What began as a lark soon became a much larger project, as I became determined to take photos of every game console. In 2013 I turned to Kickstarter to help fund this dream. It was successful.

After the Kickstarter I was offered a book deal by No Starch Press to feature my photos. I am currently working on an illustrated history of game hardware, which should hopefully be released sometime soon.
