Focus

I am the Digital Initiatives Librarian and a member of the University Archives team for Minnesota State University, Mankato. My goals are to promote the scholarship and research of the University through our Institutional Repository and to encourage use of the University Archives and Southern Minnesota Historical Center collections both in physical format and in our digital collections.

Disclosure

I am employed as a faculty member of Minnesota State University, Mankato, a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. As the Digital Initiatives Librarian, I provide leadership and direction for the development, growth, and maintenance of the University Archives digital collections. University Archives Digital Collections at Minnesota State University, Mankato consist of two repositories known as Arch and Cornerstone. Together these repositories present the scholarly, historical, and cultural record of the university and region. Arch collects, preserves, and provides digital access to historical and cultural heritage materials about Minnesota State University, Mankato and south central Minnesota. Cornerstone collects, preserves, and provides digital access to the scholarly and creative works of Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty, staff, students, and associated partners. As part of my duties, I will occasionally contribute content to Wikipedia that relates to these digital collections. However, this employment does not hamper my ability to provide impartial edits or contributions.
