Kyla Mc Nulty is a Convener at the umbrella copyright advocacy movement in South Africa, called ReCreate.
ReCreate advocates for copyright reform so that users have fairer access to learning and knowledge and creators have access to fair royalties and equitable remuneration. Wikimedia ZA is also a member, and collectively we advocate for freedom of panorama.
ReCreate has also facilitated the Right to Research in Africa conference in 2023.
