Dr. Otto J. Placik

I am a Chicago based Board-Certified Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. I’m also an active member of several local and national groups and organizations. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School, I have instructed medical students and residents but have found I also enjoy and have the benefit of educating the community. In doing so, I have written various publications and articles for my patients and for the public. I consider Wikipedia to be an excellent source to gather and distribute valuable information. My goal is not so much to discuss detail of specific procedures, but to provide photographs. Personally, I believe "a picture is worth a thousand words."
