- Puran Singh Johal belongs to Patti Bari,VPO Jandiala.He was brother of S.Lal Singh Johal(was also freedom fighter and spent 2 year in lahore jail) and uncle (chacha) of Giani Ajit Singh Johal(Headmaster). He was a Ghadr party activist in America, Secretary of Ghadr Party in 1924. Also editor of "Ghadr" paper. Incharge of Ghadr party headquaters at Sanfrancisco in 1929.He did not return to India and died in America.
