Dr. Roy Bateman often works at Silwood Park, and is interested in crop protection and other sustainability aspect of agriculture world wide. He works at IPARC - a laboratory belonging to Imperial College London. Interests include:
- entomology - especially orthoptera, dictyoptera and hemiptera
- integrated pest management - especially pesticide application and entomopathogenic fungi
- south east Asia - especially Viet Nam
