SelketBot is a proposed bot on wikimedia commons. If approved it will be used to automatically add maintenance tags to certain classes of images based on how they are used. There is also a bot by the same name on the English Wikipedia.

This user account is a bot operated by Selket (talk).
It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually.
