I notice you closed Commons:Deletion requests/File:POV oral sex.png claiming it was not in use; in fact it was in use...in the same Wikipedia article as File:Woman Posing in Abandoned Site.png which you closed as "Keep, used in WP". They are the two images in the article, illustrating two diametric ends of the spectrum. Just curious if you noticed it was in use? Deletions

From the link I had provided, one can download the source, which is available as a pdf. The book was published by the greek goverment in 1896. Windows Icons deleted

hey you deleted several of the Windows Icons I uploaded for the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Basic_.NET#Examples I found another Windows Icon uploaded to Wikipedia and it is not deleted! What is the reason for that? What am I supposed to write under licensing? I looked to find the right Licensing but I was not able to get it right. Could you help me with that to get it right? Ich habe noch ein anderes Windows Icon gefunden das hier bei Wikipedia hochgeladen wurde und es wurde nicht geloescht! Was ist der Grund dafuer? Was soll ich bei Lizenz schreiben? Ich habe versucht die richtige Lizenz zu finden aber ich bin nicht wirklich fuendig geworden. Koenntest du mir dabei helfen dieses richtig hinzubekommen? Das ist eine Fair-Use-Datei auf der englischen Wikipedia. Auf commons ist Fair-Use nicht möglich. desshalb habe ich auch deine Icons gelöscht. Du kannst gerne prüfen, ob deine Icons mit der Licensing-policy der enwp vereinbar sind und diese ggf. dort hochladen. Auf Commons jedoch sehe ich leider keine Chance dafür. Löschaktionen

Hallo ABF, Ihr beeindruckender Löscheifer scheint wenig Grenzen zu kennen. Nachdem ich File:Kampen Bovenkerk Chororgel.jpg und File:Kampen Bovenkerk Chororgel Schiebekoppel.jpg am 18. Mai 2010 hochgeladen habe, wurde bereits von Ihrem offensichtlich Seelenverwandten User:Wknight94 wenige Minuten später ein NPD-Vermerk eingefügt. Nun haben Sie Ihrerseits noch nicht einmal die sieben Tage für eine Schnelllöschung abwarten können, sondern bereits am 24. Mai 2010 die Dateien in vorauseilender Gesetzestreue schnellgelöscht. Ich weiß, dass man als gewöhnlicher Benutzer keine Mittel und Möglichkeiten gegen Ihre Macht und Deutungshoheit des Rechts hat. selbstverständlich habe ich die sieben Tage den Commons-Richtlinien zuvolge gänzlich eingehalten. Sie können nun gerne ihre Rechenmaschine bemühen. Hochgeladen wurde die Datei am 18. Mai, gelöscht am 25. Mai. (Beleg: "(show/hide) 01:25, 25 May 2010 ABF (talk | contribs | block) deleted "File:Kampen Bovenkerk Chororgel.jpg" ‎ (In category Media missing permission as of 18 May 2010; no permission) (view/restore) (global usage; delinker log)"). 25-18 ergibt 7. Somit kann ich Ihr diesbezügliches Argument nicht nachvollziehen.

Des weiteren möchte ich Ihnen die Problematik der Bilder einmal erklären. Selbstverständlich habe ich die "kopierte Freigabe" auf der Bildbeschreibungsseite wahrgenommen. Dummerweise haben wir auf Commons weit mehr als 6.000.000 Dateien, somit können wir leider bei Fremd-Bildern nur auf Freigaben vertrauen, die dem OTRS-Team vorliegen.

Sobald diese Freigabe dem OTRS vorliegt, wird es mir eine große Freude sein, Ihre Bilder widerherzustellen. Bitte informieren Sie mich dann.

Zuletzt noch ein Wort zum "Löscheifer": Ich bin derzeit damit beschäftigt, einige sogenannte "Backlogs" abzuarbeiten. Das dabei eine große Menge an Bildern gelöscht wird ist (leider) unumgänglich. Ich möchte Sie daher um Verständnis für die anfallenden Löschungen bei dieser Arbeit bitten.

Bei mir erschien bereits am 24. Mai in der Beobachtungsliste der Hinweis auf Löschung. Wenn Sie auf die beiden Bilder klicken, steht bei zumindest bei mir "22:25, 24. Mai 2010 ABF (Diskussion | Beiträge) hat „File:Kampen Bovenkerk Chororgel Schiebekoppel.jpg“ gelöscht ‎ (In category Media missing permission as of 18 May 2010; no permission)". Ich brauche wohl keine Subtraktion durchzuführen um zu demonstrieren, dass dies 6 Tage sind. Schon der Umstand, dass hier offensichtlich unterschiedlich gerechnet werden kann und von Commons unterschiedliche Angaben gemacht werden, zeigt doch, wie wenig nachvollziehbar und undurchschaubar das für einen Otto-Normal-Benutzer ist.

Nein, ich habe absolut kein Verständnis, dass wenige Minuten nach dem Hochladen bereits mit der Löschung gedroht wird. Und ich habe auch kein Verständnis, dass nach 6 (oder angeblich 7) Tagen die Löschung ohne Zögern erfolgt. Dass Sie den diesbezüglichen Ärger und Frust bei den Benutzern nicht nachvollziehen können, bestätigt meine Aussage, wie stark Sie bereits der Löschmanie verfallen sind.

Der Autor der Bilder hat mir bestätigt, dass er eine Lizenz an Commons gesandt hat. Es wird mir eine Genugtuung sein, dass Sie zumindest in der Zeit, wo Sie die Bilder wieder freigeben müssen oder sich vermutlich aussichtslosen Diskussionen wie dieser widmen, keine weitere Löschaktionen durchführen können.

Bei mehreren Bildern erfolgte die OTRS-Permission erst 14 Tage nachdem die Autoren die Lizenzen gesandt hatten. Gleiches Recht für alle gilt offensichtlich bei Commons nicht.

Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn wieder etwas mehr Geduld, Verständnis und Menschlichkeit bei Commons einkehren würde. Ich habe diesbezüglich aber wenig Hoffnung.

Ich habe jetzt mit dem OTRS Rücksprache gehalten und die Bilder in Folge dessen wiederhergestellt.

"Löschtroll" gefällt mir auch besser als "Löschtaliban". Es freut mich, dass Sie die voreilig schnellgelöschten Bilder ebenso schnell wiederhergestellt haben und diesmal die Leute von OTRS sofort reagiert haben. Ich werte das als eine gewisse Einsicht. Natürlich können Sie die Diskussion abbrechen. Damit bestätigen Sie allerdings meine Vorwürfe. Zum anderen ist mir bewusst, dass ich eine prinzipielle Frage anschneide. Natürlich bin ich auch für den Autorenschutz der Bilder und die Ahndung von Missbrauch usw. Aber die Art und Weise, wie das häufig durchgesetzt wird, lässt hilflose Benutzer wehmütig an vergangene Zeiten denken, in denen Gewaltenteilung und Demokratierechte noch hoch im Kurs standen. Versetzen Sie sich doch immer mal wieder in einen durchschnittlichen Benutzer. Wenn es mir z.B. endlich gelungen ist, dass Pastoren Bilder von Kirchen und Orgeln zum Hochladen zusenden, und ich ihnen mühevoll das Wiki-Prinzip erklärt habe, dauert es dennoch oft Wochen, bis sie endlich - nach mehrfacher Erinnerung - die Lizenz einsenden. Es würde schon helfen, wenn Sie 1. neue Bilder nicht gleich indizieren und 2. relativ harmlose Bilder nicht nach 144 Stunden schnelllöschen, sondern etwas geduldiger sind. Wenige Minuten (!) nach dem Hochladen mittels eines NPD-Vermerks mit einer Löschung zu drohen, wie User:Wknight94 sich unterstanden hat, muss beim normalen Benutzer als unverschämte Provokation ankommen. Ein Normalsterblicher hat zudem von "OTRS" und dergleichen noch nie gehört. Und in gesetzlicher Hinsicht ist keine Schnelllöschung innerhalb einer Woche notwendig oder gefordert. Das sind die selbstgemachten Regeln der selbsternannten "Commonizei". Mit einem Resthoffnung verbleibt, diesmal freundlich und den besten Wünschen für wirklich sinnvolle Tätigkeiten, Wikiwal3 (talk) 12:48, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Could you please discuss your closure of the deletion discussion of File:Surprisingly erotic murals found in Tajikistan.jpg?

Were you aware that the individual who made the nomination did not inform the uploader (ie me)? Our decisions are supposed to be made through our policies and through civil collegial informed discussion. In my opinion informed collegial discussion precludes making nominations for deletion, and not bothering to inform the individuals who might offer a differign opinion.

I think there are strong reasons to keep this image. The 'Stan countries are supposed to be deeply conservative on sexual matters. So erotic murals are remarkable, and worth preservation. Geo Swan (talk) 05:23, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I removed the thread you started (please see my edit summary as to why). Honestly, there is not much administrators could do about that anyways...seeing as they cannot "delete" accounts. I haven't been notified that somebody nominated the photo for deletion. The photo is work of my school friend who attended the FED cup game. She uploaded it to Facebook, I asked her and she agreed. Hi, you deleted "File:Sensuurimielenosoitus1.jpg" ‎ (In category Media missing permission as of 24 May 2010; no permission), but which was uploaded to wikipedia by some guy in the internet with license "Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Generic". However in images source page there was in big friendly letters the information that "this work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License.". And the site is finnish nerds media release sites (translate for tukijaverkosto is "support network") so most of the stuff is there to being used.
