Wiki Loves Monuments Spain 2016 is coming!Dear Amfeli, As every year, Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain, an international photographic contest about cultural heritage in the Spanish territory, will start on next September 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, or in other photographic contests organized by WM-ES, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2016 edition. We do know that you've been keen on contributing your work to the free knowledge in the past and therefore believe that you'll be glad to help us again. We want to inform you about a substantial change in the rules of the contest: this year only images of monuments or municipalities without previous photograph in Wikimedia Commons are accepted. To facilitate hunting monuments and municipalities without a free image, we have prepared a set of specific lists, which can be checked in the contest websites: wikilov.es/monuments or wikilm.es If you have comments, questions or suggestions about the contest, they are more than welcome. Wiki Loves Earth Spain 2018 has started! edit

Dear Amfeli, As every year, Wiki Loves Earth in Spain, an international photographic contest about natural heritage sites in the Spanish territory, started on May 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2018 edition. We do know that you've been keen on contributing your work to the free knowledge in the past and therefore believe that you'll be glad to help us again to document biodiversity. If you have comments, questions or suggestions about the contest, they are more than welcome. You can leave them here. You can review the rules of the contest in it official site (Spanish). Photo en double edit
Bonjour monsieur le professeur.
Une photo prise par vous apparaît maintenant en double File:Figura masculina (16730831160).jpg. Il me semble que nous devrions éviter ce qui apparaît comme un doublon. Le nom de la nouvelle version semble légèrement plus explicite, cette statue est liée à une autre statue prise par vous mais qui a été importée récemment. Il faudrait modifier la version de la licence du fichier original pour l'harmoniser avec la licence disponible sur flickr (passer de 4.0 à 2.0) et aussi renommer le fichier avec un nom plus explicite (Figura masculina).

Muchísimas gracias por tus fotos de la provincia de Badajoz. Sabrás que estamos intentando conseguir fotos de todos los municipios de España y nos van quedando ya pocos. Y gracias a ti, menos aún. Realmente es una gran ayuda porque Extremadura es una de las partes que más difícilmente cubrimos. En septiembre me acerqué desde Valencia con mi esposa, y alguno de los mayores contribuidores lo ha hecho desde Oviedo. Así que entenderás que estemos muy contentos de encontrarte.

Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started edit
Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017 and Wiki Science Competition 2019, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.
If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.
If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.
Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".
If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2020.

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017, Wiki Science Competition 2019 and Wiki Science Competition 2021, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2023 has started in almost all the countries.
If you want to take part in WSC2023, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.
If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.
If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase (such as Russia), please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2024.
