ich würde dein Bild gern auf Wikivoyage (http://www.wikivoyage.org) hochladen, um den dortigen Artikel über das De Hoop Nature Reserve zu ergänzen. Dazu bräuchte ich aber entweder dein Einverständnis, dass ich es mit der Attribution ShareAlike 1.0 hochladen kann oder du würdest dich selbst registrieren und es mit der Lizensierung deiner Wahl hochladen (und zwar hier. Tolle Bilder - Steppenzebras?

Hallo Amrum (ihren vollen Namen habe ich leider gerade nicht parat),

gerade bin ich auf der Suche nach dem südlichen Kapwal auf Ihre Seite gekommen, und habe mir gleich Ihre anderen tollen Bilder angeschaut! Wir waren gerade von ein paar Wochen in Namibia, und deswegen haben mich Ihre Namibia-Bilder besonders interessiert. Bei den Steppenzebras bin ich sicher, dass es Bergzebras sind. Die Zeichnung der Beine und des Rückens kurz vor dem Schwanz sowie die Form des Halses sprechen dafür. Wir haben übrigens auch einen südlichen Glattwahl gesehen, bei einer Kajaktour in der Walvis-Bay.

Flowers of South Africa

I noticed that the Category:Plants of South Africa was huge! More than 200 images of mostly flowers! So I have started to sort through them -- my thoughts on this is that if a species is found growing in South Africa, then that category should be in the Plants of South Africa category. (I don't have the patience to make galleries....)

While doing that, I started to mark some of your photographs there with the rename template. I mention it now because I do not want it to be a rude surprise. The images are mostly very nice, btw. This one if it hasn't been renamed by the time you read this, might be a Senecio which I have been writing articles about on english wikipedia.

I am going to be putting the unidentified flowers into a category for unidentified flowers and I was thinking that a special category for those parks would be useful in the case that there is someone associated with the park who could identify them.

I looked at your contributions and noticed that you are naming your images differently now, much in the way that I am requesting the rename, so perhaps it would not have been a rude surprise without the warning here.

Hi Amrum, I think the above pic is wrongly identified. According to the SA wild flower guide (West Coast), Arctotis stoechadifolia has grey leaves deeply lobed and cream or pale yellow flowers, with a black basal mark. Not Hyobanche sanguinea but H. glabrata

Hi Amrum, Three of your images, Hyobanche sanguinea-PICT2580.jpg, Hyobanche sanguinea-PICT2581.jpg and Hyobanche sanguinea.jpg uploaded under Category Hyobanche sanguinea, are of Hyobanche glabrata. The latter differs from H. sanguinea, amongst others, by the sparsely hairy to glabrous perianth, a floral tube that is not hooded at the tip, and stamens that are exserted. If you agree with this identification, you may want to move these images to Hyobanche glabrata, update the descriptions and request changing the file names as well. I notice you have not bee active since 2011, but better safe than sorry. Your image Wachendorfia paniculata Burm., Tienie Versfeld Wildflower Reserve PICT3341.jpg had been categorised as Wachendorfia brachyandra.
