File:Bennuarrival.png
editHello! Could you please let me know the exact URL you retrieved File:Bennuarrival.png from? When uploading to Commons, simply including a top-level domain is not adequate. Thank you! — Huntster (t @ c) 01:53, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know! I retrieved the image from the asteroidmission (OSIRIS-REx) website, in which the specific URL is here:https://www.asteroidmission.org/bennu_approach_full/ (It is a still frame from the animation) I am sorry if this isn't the right place to respond, as I am new to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. - No, that's perfect! Thank you for replying, and please let me know if you ever have questions about how things work around here. I know there's a lot to take in. — Huntster (t @ c) 03:56, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
Ultima Thule
editHow was File:Nh mu69.png processed, and from which source image? It looks like we're still in the 2 pixel scale. [1] Tomruen (talk) 22:13, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
The image taken at 1:46:05 during Dec 31 (sorry I forgot to specify which image), or this image http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/soc/UltimaThule-Encounter/data/mu69/level2/lor/jpeg/040844/lor_0408440284_0x633_sci_1.jpg I processed it by softening and blurring it (it was only 2x2 pixels, but the shape is still clearly visible) in GIMP and Google Drawings. I am also working on processing the more recent image (http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/soc/UltimaThule-Encounter/data/mu69/level2/lor/jpeg/040848/lor_0408487114_0x633_sci_1.jpg) and will upload it once I am done. - Ardenau, check the formatting I've applied to File:Nh mu69.png, especially the category. I'd suggest applying the same to future images you work on. Cheers! — Huntster (t @ c) 23:15, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
