Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Azteck Benjamin!

Azteck Benjamin was formed in February 2004. Consisting of four of its original five members, Azteck Benjamin has expanded itself musically and geographically. What started out 4 years ago has greatly grown and matured. Azteck Benjamin is quickly becoming one of the bands that you just have to see to fully understand what we're about. We take nothing for granted and strive in everyway to improve and provide what we find most enjoyable in life. Azteck Benjamin consists of Raul Gutierrez on guitar and vocals, Chad MacKenzie on guitar, Ryan Horn on drums and Garrett Parvin on bass and vocals. The year 2007 saw some major changes for the band. Vail is the band's current headquarters, and a nice following has developed there. Azteck Benjamin has performed on the well-known Finnagin's Deck and the world famous 8150. The band also opened for San Diego based Mower and won the Rocky Mountain Battle of the Bands. The biggest change was the loss of bass player Derek Ducharme to family life, After an extensive search that brought inquiry from around the state, the band stayed close to home and chose Garrett Parvin, originally from Sarye, Oklahoma. Garrett's experience was mostly as a solo act but his powerful voice and Southern yet groovy presence fit perfectly. Spawned in the bowels of Vail, Colorado, Azteck Benjamin ripped their way into the metal scene in 2004. The band's first album, self titled 'Azteck Benjamin', fuses Raul Gutierrez's punishing roars with biting drums to concoct an effort bursting at the seams with pulse-pounding scorchers. With standout tracks like 'Light,' the music of Azteck Benjamin appeals to metal fans and non-metal fans alike.

Hello, Azteck Benjamin!

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.
