Te escribo porque no tengo nada claro que las imágenes que has traído de la web de la Democracia Cristiana (como Image:Soledad Alvear.jpg o Image:Concertación de Partidos por la Democracia.jpg), la OEA (como Image:OAS Secretary General election 2005.jpg, Image:Jose Miguel Insulza.jpg o Image:Insulza elected OAS Secretary General.jpg) o la Comisión Bicentenario (Image:Plaza de la ciudadania.jpg) tengan la licencia que tú dices que tienen.

En el último caso (Bicentenario), las políticas del sitio (en [1]) establecen claramente que:

al Usuario se le prohíbe especialmente: (a) reproducir, copiar, distribuir, permitir el acceso del público al Sitio a través de cualquier modalidad de comunicación pública, transformar o modificar los Contenidos, a menos que se cuente con la autorización del titular de los correspondientes derechos o ello resulte legalmente permitido; (b) suprimir, eludir o manipular el "copyright" y demás datos identificadores de los derechos de chilebicentenario.cl o de sus titulares, incorporados a los Contenidos, así como los dispositivos técnicos de protección, las huellas digitales o cualesquiera mecanismos de información que pudieren contener los Contenidos;

En el segundo (OEA), las políticas ([2]) dicen:

PD en Chile

Hola KRATK, la verdad es que lo del dominio público es endiablado. El otro día estuve en una exposición fotográfica en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, sobre fotografía del último siglo. Si mal no recuerdo, el plazo de vigencia del dominio público en España es de 75 años (aunque no recuerdo si es desde la muerte del autor). Lo curioso es que el catálogo tenía la desfachatez de pedir copyright a fotografías ¡de 1860!. Menuda jeta.

Perdona por la parrafada, pero quería desahogarme :-) Respecto a lo que dices, tienes más razón que un santo, pero mis conocimientos sobre commons son limitados. Te recomiendo que les comentes este tema a Sanbec o a Anna, los únicos bibliotecarios hispanohablantes de commons, de momento. Manténme informado, por favor. German historical flags

Fyi the images Image:Germany-Jack-1867.svg, Image:Germany-Jack-1903.svg, Image:Germany-Jack-1921.svg and Image:Germany-Jack-1933.svg are all different proportions and sizes (those flags are correct). The Jack and ensign for 1933-1935 were the same design, and the iron cross on the 1933 flag indeed was set to the left by contemporary German law. Comando Tomás Hirsch

Hola B1mbo, he visto que has subido muchas fotos y que las has licenciado indican que el Comando Tomás Hirsch autoriza su uso, ingresé en la página y no pude encontrar por ninguna parte una autorización que mencione que la mencionada institución autoriza el uso de estas fotografías bajo una licencia libre o algo similar, como tal deberían ser marcadas sin origen y ser retiradas de todos los artículos, supongo que tú estás relacionado a ese grupo o algo similar y puedes proveer una autorización para las mismas, de otra forma esas fotos no se pueden quedar en los artículos. según commons hay que enviar una carta a permissions@wikimedia.org con una copia de la autorización que obtuviste o bien colocarla en la discusión, se tiene que ver que el sitio es dueño de las imágenes y que la persona que autoriza esto es poseedora de los derechos. Este problema de la licencia es algo que me preocupa, yo creo que tienes buena voluntad pero creo que no le estás dando la importancia del caso, es una apreciación subjetiva de todos modos.

Las razones de mi preocupación son las siguiente. La carta no indica la licencia bajo la cual se permite su distribución ¿Se permite la venta de esas fotografías? El email no es muy explícito al respecto. Otra cosa, el sitio no indica ser dueño de las fotografías que mencionas en las galerías http://www.tomashirsch.cl/galerias/galerias.htm explícitamente se indica que es gentileza de otra institución y en la sección de videos existen videos de grabados de canales de televisión http://www.tomashirsch.cl/materiales/videos.htm . En ambos casos el sitio no tiene ninguna potestad para autorizar su uso. Otro caso es el del logo de campaña, el sitio http://www.podemos.cl/ se atribuye el copyright del logo así como estoy seguro que lo hace la institución política, así que como tal tampoco el Comando Tomas Hirsch tiene autoridad sobre eso, me refiero a autoridad para relicenciar el logo. Si te parece que estoy yendo muy lejos con esto del copyright sugeriría que preguntaramos a un administrador de commons en caso que no estes de acuerdo conmigo. --Alhen .::··¨ 19:29, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Hola B1mbo, he borrado Image:Uruguay 1930 World Cup.jpg porque no es válida únicamente la fecha de emisión de ese affiche para poderlo licenciar como PD-Art. Como deberías haber leído en la licencia de en:Image:1930 Football World Cup poster.jpg el copyright puede pertenecer a la organización o al artista que lo diseñó, por tanto en la en:wiki está clasificado como fair use, licencia no permitida aquí. Re: PD-Chile

I restored the three images: File:Gabriel Gonzalez Videla.jpg, File:Gabriel Gonzalez Videla-1951.jpg, File:Gabriel Gonzalez Videla-Antartica.jpg. I also marked them as "missing source", the reason is always the same. Someone made it simple here: Providing a bunch of licenses, sometimes 3, sometimes 4 including {{PD-USGov}}, maybe some license will fit. Thats not ok. A source is missing (first publication?) for the images and a indication, why the author is unknown. An unknown author today was not an unknown author in the past, did he provide the images anonymous or wasnt his name documentated? Foto de Piñera

Querido B1mbo, estoy en desacuerdo con que cambies la foto de Piñera, ya que la idea es que los candidatos estén mirando de frente, si es que tal foto existe. En el caso de MEO no hay foto de él mirando al frente, por eso está esa puesta, pero en el caso de SP sí tenemos, por lo que prefiero que usemos esa a la que tú pusiste donde aparece mirando para el lado. Entiendo que no te gusta esta foto porque consideras que SP aparece "scary", pero mientras no haya una mejor mirando de frente prefiero que usemos esa. Creo que la imagen que has puesto de SP tampoco es buena porque el fondo ha sido borrado, lo que le da un toque artificial, aparte de que el sujeto está de perfil, mientras todos los otros candidatos están mirando más o menos de frente. Saludos, Cantus (talk) 12:15, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

PIñera

Estimado, la foto de Piñera que Ud. pone no es adecuada ya que la cabeza aparece muy girada hacia un lado, y además tiene un fondo blanco que la hace artificial. Los demás candidatos aparecen de frente con fondos naturales, aunque no todos están mirando hacia la cámara (Arrate SÍ mira hacia la cámara). Saludos. Cantus (talk) 02:14, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
