MAKS 2011 edit

Hello Augustas Didzgalvis! I have noticed that you have taken several photographs at the MAKS Airshow 2011. Because you have uploaded images here under free licences, I would like to ask if you can upload some of your MAKS images to Commons as well? Would be a great contribution! Thank you and regards, High Contrast (talk) 14:47, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy delete edit

I'm sorry that you feel that File:Galina Efremenko.jpg is unloved and uneeded, its a good picture, I think one of the things wrong with it if anything, is that its in landscape format rather than portrait, and this makes it difficult to use in wikipedia infoboxes, I've added it to the Japanese article, and it does look a bit squashed in, its still a great candidate for being cropped to be better fit an infobox. However even if it was and continues to be unused many of the files in Commons are unused on a wiki-project. Very soon we will have 25 million files, do you think that they are all used in articles? Commons is a project in of itself, to document and archive files that may be useful to others now and in the future. Just because it does not appear in an article now does not mean that it hasn't been appreciated, be used elsewhere or be uneeded. Please reconsider your nomination for speedy, if you still feel that it must be deleted, I'll do so.--KTo288 (talk) 13:24, 11 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Similarly with the images DRed below, because they are not used in an article does not make them irrelevant nor without value.--KTo288 (talk) 14:40, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hey, did I asked you something about the pictures? No. Did I asked to delete them? Yes. So please do it, your personal opinion for me is not very interesting for me on this particular situation. I know better then you which of my pictures is superior/worse/relevant and why. Is that definitive enought for you? Therefore thanks for your attention. --BigHead (talk) 18:04, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Okay as you wish, done with regards the Galina Efremenko photo. Another admin started DRs for the other images, and those will have to run their course, best regards.--KTo288 (talk) 19:10, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for cooperation and have a nice weekend, greetings from sunny Lithuania! --BigHead (talk) 19:12, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

If smart people learn from other people's mistakes, and other people learn from their own, then what do we call those who not only have been doing the same mistakes, but also refusing to correct them and to apologize? --Xunks (talk) 23:58, 20 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Identity edit

Labas, Augustas; do you mind placing the link to your identity confirmation at your user page? --Xunks (talk) 06:31, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dear @Xunks, I wouldn't mind. Could you, please, arrange that? Thanks for your time --BigHead (talk) 18:21, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
As it turns out, the edit filter doesn't allow me to edit your page. But you can do it yourself. Something like that: Augustas Didžgalvis, a Lithuanian photographer. Identity confirmation. --Xunks (talk) 19:19, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Done that. Is that OK now & there will be no further problems? --BigHead (talk) 21:28, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
