Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2019 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), Ukraine and France (active during November), but it's still open in all the other countries.
If you want to take part where WSC2019 is still open, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.
If you are an expert user, please consider that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.
Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, i.e. "nature and wildlife".
If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2020.

Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started edit
Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017 and Wiki Science Competition 2019, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.
If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.
If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.
Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".

- ho ricevuto l'invito a partecipare a Wiki Science 2022 e così oggi, cliccando su Italy dalla pagina principale di Wiki Science, ho caricato un set di foto. Più tardi ho trovato sul mio set (su ogni foto del set di 10 immagin) il logo con la la partecipazione a Wiki Science 2019...
- E' solo un errore del sistema e non devo preoccuparmi di cancellare le immagini oppure devo muovermi diversamente? Non ho peraltro vista citata nella giuria la categoria set di immagini che invece sulla pagina era presente.

- Dovrei aver ricategorizzato tutto, c'era un baco in un codice. le foto finivano nella categoria tematica corretta per il 2021 ma non per il paese. Ogni tanto apro qui e le avrei viste e notato che non erano nella specifica categoria, ma mi sarei comunque accorto a fine concorso che la somma di foto per categoria e per paese aveva una discrepanza. In altri termini, non sarebbero mai andate perse. Troppo vistosa una differenza di 10 foto per non essere notata.--Alexmar983 (talk) 12:00, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

I've reverted you since that page is only for the discussion of the file File:Deborah Coyne.jpg. If you would like to nominate these files for deletion, you will have to create a new deletion request(s). The instructions to file a deletion request are at Commons:Deletion requests#Starting requests. Alternatively, since these files are your own uploads and it's within 7 days of uploading, you can request deletion by posting {{Db-self}} on the file pages. - Hello and first of all thank you very much for reporting, help and availability. I have tried to read the guide carefully several times but obviously I have not been able to understand exactly how to do it. I apologize because I really have a lot of difficulty in understanding the procedures (except cricare the images and something else I really don't know how to do). I am aware that I ask you some stupid questions, forgive me. The wording that you indicate to me I did not understand where I should insert it if on my page containing the photograph or on another page dedicated to cancellations. I'm sorry if I've made problems in the unsubscribe list, I try to read and reread the instructions before moving but in the end I always make a huge amount of mistakes. Wiki Loves Folklore 2023 in India is on! edit

Greetings from Wiki Loves Folklore India Team!
Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest organized on Wikimedia Commons, this campaign invites participants to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from different regions, including, folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology and many more. Let's help to protect and develop our intangible Indian culture, which consists of customs or active expressions that we have acquired from our ancestors and passed down to our offspring.
How to Contribute?
The dates for the submission in the photography contest on Wikimedia Commons are from 1 February to 31 March 2023. Probably you are wondering how you can take part. It’s simple: grab a camera, record an image, video or audio under the folklore theme, create a Wikimedia account and start uploading! To learn more about the rules, check out our Project page on Wikimedia Commons.
Below are the exciting prizes which you can win internationally an locally. (Contributors can win both International and Local Prizes as well )
