Image Authorship edit
Hi, just wanted to know, how do I mark the author of these images, if I’d wanted to use them for my personal purpose? for instance, on my recent trip I took some pictures of the Hoover dam, but It was at dusk, and they didn’t come out good, and I didn’t have much time to play with the settings. So I cannot publish my images, cause they’re not a good quality, but I’d like visitors of my blog to have a good idea of what I have seen, and would love to link or thumbnail/link to, say, here, or to your website, if you have one. theUg 08:08, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

The arrangements for the Commons Picture of the Year 2006 competition are now complete, and voting will start tomorrow, Feb 1st. All the featured pictures promoted last year are automatically nominated. As the creator of one or more images nominated for the election we invite you to participate in the event.
