You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? PDP-6 Logotype

The first page of this brochure from mid-'65 does indeed show a different font. Looks like the same one used on early PDP-8s, which makes sense because they're both from the same year. @Larsbrinkhoff: By all means, use them however you wish – wouldn't feel right holding them hostage since they're not exactly my logos, heh. I agree vertical stacks are the way to go on a T-shirt (the opposite of infoboxes as it turns out...) I will upload the lion's share to Commons, barring maybe that Interlisp print with the graphics and the DEC LARS report, which I might upload to MEGA. Thanks, it looks great! FYI. My interest in Data Disc is two-fold: 1. a drive was used at the Stanford AI lab to store bitmaps for 32 video feeds, distributed to 58 raster displays. With some Waifu2x trickery I think it turned out better than I expected. The book cover came out very nice. If you'd like a bit of a challenge, I have "Computer Corporation of America", or CCA. They are on my radar because they used to have an office in the same building as Project MAC, and they sold their own Emacs version. I haven't found any high resolution images. Fyre Festival Logo

@Datsofelija: All primary sources that I could find (archives of the Fyre Festival website, flyers, social media accounts etc.) show the logo in black and white only. I'm pretty sure the orange zigzag of that upload was made up by a third party. DigitalIceAge (talk) 06:39, 6 September 2023 (UTC)

Font of OS-2 logo

Hi! I am the former "Comrade-yutyo" guy. Do you know the name of the font used in OS/2 logo? VectorVoyager (talk) 08:58, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

@VectorVoyager: Obstensibly it's Helvetica (Neue) Condensed Bold, but no foundry's version of that font matched the countours of the actual letterforms used on the OS/2 box, so I traced the letterforms from scratch. I've searched high and low through PDFs and PostScript files on Google, Archive.org, and Discmaster.textfiles.com (RIP) for an official vector copy of the logo to no avail. Hi. I want to get advice from you regarding metallic background for vector recreations. I used gradient in File:IBM Quantum System Two.svg, attempting to replicate the metallic texture in the original product. Here is the YouTube tutorial I used to create the brushed metal effect in Inkscape. It's essentially a modified "Film Grain" complex filter (Filter > Image Effects > Film Grain) with the x parameter of the Turbuluence filter set to around 0.025 or so and the K1 and K3 parameters of the Composition filter set to around 0.1 or so. This creates a relatively realistic brushed metal effect over a subltle gradient like yours. Hope this helps! DigitalIceAge (talk) 16:38, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
