Hi & thanks - I had a feeling it was not that simple - I'll go make them redlinks again, ho hum. The "delete" count is getting embarrassing! I love the fact that they even vandalise a redirect! Image undelete

Hey there, this is a request to undelete Image:Rose_McGowan_07-22-06.jpg. This was not a video capture as was guessed. Image was taken at Comic-Con, where McGowan and others were taking part in a panel. The image shows a projector image, often used at such events that have a large audience, so that everyone can see the panel members. This is no different than if the panel itself was being photographed (just that the person who took the image was either a bit too far away or didn't have a clear shot of the panel members). I saw that you are and admin, so I would ask you if you could lock or finalize some of the deletion requests of my images that are either finised, solved or are for deletion, or by any category that you can lock. If the pics are going to be deleted, please explain why onm the deletion request and if not please lock the deletion reques disccusion and remove the template for deletion. If the pics have still pending deletion request that are not solved, leave them.

Could you also give me a reply message in which I could know what you did with the deleton request. Which ones you deleted, which ones are still pendinn, which ones ok and will not be deleted and are locked.

Re: Sidebar mixup

Hi EaL, I probably made a mess with all those links. I was trying to fix some italian links and I also asked in IRC for some information about how to do that. I see that you have changed it again into english. But i just want to show you an example. In the italian sidebar I see the link to the Community Portal in italian; the same happens to the main page, the help page and the village pump. Female no free image

Pretty good but a couple of points

The curley hair is a bit busy at 150 could it be stylised further (in particular the broken off bits)? Also the neck appears to be slightly asmetrical is that deliberate?Geni 09:14, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

I agree humans are generaly asmetrical (I supppose a person who was truely ambidextrous and had a slightly unusal gene set up and perfect health might be symmetrical). Stylised stuff tends to be less so and the sharpness of the angle on the right of the image does contrast rather strongly. Call to arms

Hi Editor at Large. I write to you and all other users listed on the Welcome log helpers list, except for EugeneZelenko this Call to arms. The reason for it is that I have seen very little activity on the project by you. Because of this we have most probably failed to check the contributions of thousands of new users and have not been able to inform them of the practices on Wikimedia Commons in a timely fashion, causing more work for us and the contributor later in the process.

I would like to urge you to make a habit of checking at least 10 or so new user's contributions from the Commons:Welcome log each day you are active here. We welcome about 200 new users with contributions each day and we currently have 19 users on the helpers list. You can find links to some helpful scripts on the welcome log page, that are likely to make your life a lot easier.
