Hello Pete Forsyth,

You're right, it's highly unlikely that a picture of Harry Partch (in the 1950s or early 1960s) and one of his signature instrument is Public Domain.

I've asked for speedy deletion.

Maybe someone can create an "equivalent" drawing using such a picture as reference, in order to illustrate an article about the composer.

@Pete Forsyth Thank you very much for this notification. I have taken a step back from all wikipedia / wikimedia activities for a moment : it's been really depressing, lately. The quality of the picture is certainly sufficient for a vignette in the body of the article (with a relatively small value of upright). For the infobox, it would be quite bad. I always find it insulting when people insist on using the worst possible picture available (it happens ^_^) which makes one assume that online encyclopedias are meant to be some sort of Hell for artists, famous or unknown...
