Mistake in antibody figure edit

Hi Fvasconcellos. You really produce nice images, but I have a problem with you figure "Image:Antibody.svg". The "antigen-binding fragment" called Fab is not shown correctly in your image. The region you point at is the variable Region. The Fab contains also CH1 and CV domains. Could you change it? Thanks, Lennart81

That image is only an SVG version of Image:Antibody.png, which is originally from the Talking Glossary of Genetics. I'll change it to antigen-binding site—how's that? Fvasconcellos 19:26, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

A new SVG? edit

Hi there. Would it be possible for you to convert and upload a SVG version of Wikipedia Image:Lipid peroxidation.png? Thank you very much. Tim

Dasatinib image is missing the chlorine edit

The SVG you created for Dasatinib is missing a chlorine off the terminal benzene ring. Would be great if you get a chance to correct it. Cheers.

Now fixed. Thank you! Fvasconcellos 13:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Trehalose edit

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that your Trehalose structure is missing CH2OH groups on the anomeric carbons. Thanks!

Image request in the Wikipedia Evolution FAC edit

Hi there, it's that time again! One of the reviewers at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Evolution has picked up a mistake in a SVG image that I can't change myself. In Image:Speciation modes.svg, would it be possible for you to change the use of the word "niche" into "Habitat" throughout, and in the right-hand column change "Genetic polymorphism" to "Genetic change" Thanks! Done :) Replied on your Wikipedia Talk page. Best, Fvasconcellos 17:35, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Chemical structures made in Chemsketch as svg edit

I want to make chemical structures with Chemsketch and upload them as svg to Wikipedia. But when I export the structure as wmf and load it into Inkscape, the letters (e.g. N or O) vanish. You work with this both programms, so can you discribe how you manage it to get svg files in the end, please? Phillsox

Thanks for the quick answer. It works very fine in the way you descibed. But in this image
File:CoomassieBB R250.svg
the number 3 in the SO3-group isn`t subscript, although I shiftet it in Inkscape. Can you give me a hint what to do? --Phillsox 09:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

re: Image:Hooverphonic perfoming at 2007 B'Estival.jpg edit

Hey hey! All seems fine (the Flickr info tool is very helpful for these things, even it does put images into nonexistent categories, which you have to go through and fix later by hand... ) I've reviewed the image for you and it all checks out. Bravo ;) ~ Riana 01:11, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aliskiren edit

Hello! I was just looking at the structural formula of aliskiren which you had drawn(?) when I realized that the stereogenic center at C2 has R configuration while it should be S. Could you please correct? Thanks.

All done—thank you! Fvasconcellos 14:25, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sterol synthesis page-- pyrophosphate structural errors edit

Please note that each of the pyrophosphate units in the chemistry images on the sterol synthesis page all lack an oxygen atom between each phosphorus atom pair. This is a common error on all of those chemical structures on that page.

A phosphate ester has the structure: (carbon chain)-O-P(O)(OH)2, and a pyrophosphate ester has the general structure: (carbon chain)-O-P(O)(OH)---O---P(O)(OH)2 where I show an extra oxygen between the extended hyphens in this moiety. It is a type of anhydride of phosphoric acid. The image you have used for these pyrophosphates is some type of "hypo-pyrophosphate" moiety, I believe, as it indicates that the two phosphorus atoms are bonded to each other (i.e., by a phosphorus-phosphorus bond) in each unit. That is incorrect.

Thank you for changing the structures.

EBrown

Error in one of my diagrams edit

Hi there, somebody just pointed out an embarrassing error in Image:Relative scale.svg, with atoms being 10-fold too large! I've corrected Image:Relative scale.png could you upload a new SVG version over the incorrect SVG? Thanks. User:TimVickers 17:49, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the messages, both on en and here. Trehalose structure has L-glucose as second ring, rather than D-glucose edit

These are very nice clear diagrams. However, it looks like the right-hand ring in trehalose is the mirror image of what it should be. Instead of having the ring oxygen in the front, it should be in the back. Most clearly, it should be a 180 rotation about the Z axis, rather than about the X axis as you have done. The X-axis rotation doesn't work for the same reason that it doesn't work in Fisher diagrams. This makes a really interesting student problem!

Monobook edit

Bem fácil :) Agora até há duas formas. Ou editas directamente o teu monobook.js e adicionas

document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="'
             + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>');
//[[MediaWiki talk:HotCat.js]]

ou vais às tuas preferências, clicas na tab "Gadgets" e seleccionas Hot Cat, em "Tools for categories". Enjoy :) Patrícia msg 21:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image modification edit

Hi there, could you remove the mesosome from Image:Average prokaryote cell- en.svg, since if you read the Wikipedia:mesosome article you'll see this is just a staining artifact and not a genuine organelle. TimVickers 18:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I like the edit. If you like, you can upload the edit over the original version, and I can delete the new version here. Or you can switch the version in the article; either is fine with me.--Ragesoss 21:03, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
