Thanks for uploading File:2023 New South Wales Legislative Assembly.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

French polling graph

edit

Please, stop replacing the graph I created with an identical graph whose only difference is being created by yourself. If you think anything can be improved you should discuss it instead of uploading duplicated files. Basque mapping (talk) 13:17, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I initially wasn't aware you were intent on updating the file, so I created my version in order to have one that I am able to update regularly. I've had experience replacing abandoned polling graphs before and decided it's best not to wait and just to make sure that the page is up-to-date. The reason I put my version back after you reverted it is because I think the smoothing options you chose aren't as good at depicting the change in vote share and I personally think that the 5% breaks make more sense here as the numbers are lower and the polls are closer than a lot of other polls.
My recommendations for your graph are that you change the smoothing to something closer to 8.500-8.750 and that you add ,breaks = seq(0,35, by = 5) after limits=c(1,35).
I'm sorry I didn't realise you were the original creator of the French opinion polling graph and that I assumed you'd forgotten about it (like the previous people with the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Austrian graphs before me). GlowstoneUnknown (talk) 13:33, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi! Thanks for the answer. I've changed the smooth to 9.0 but I haven't changed the 10% breaks (as this are almost always used in other graphs). I can't guarantee you updating the graph everyday, but I will do my best to maintain the graph updated. Now I'm going to replace the graphs on the polling articles. Cheers!
