Takk for at du bidrar med bilder til Wikimedia Commons. Vennligst husk at alle bilder lastet opp til Commons skal være nyttig for alle brukerne på Wikimedia-prosjektene. Det er kun mulig hvis bildene er mulige å finne for andre.

For at andre skal kunne finne bildene du har lastet opp her, må alle bildene være plassert på et passende sted, så man lett kan finne dem ved å navigere i kategoriene. Dette betyr at du må putte bildene i en passende kategori, eventuelt legge inn bildene i en temaside (galleri), eller gjøre begge deler (se Commons:Categories). For å finne passende kategorier for dine bilder, kan CommonSense-verktøyet komme til nytte.

Du kan finne en enkel oversikt over dine egne filer i dette galleriet.

Det viktige er at bildene skal bli puttet i et passende sted/kategori. Det er mange usorterte bilder her på Commons akkurat nå. Hvis du vil hjelpe til med arbeidet å sortere dem, er du hjertelig velkommen til å bidra!

...det var template-beskjeden. Du har flere biler som ligger bare i lisenskategorier eller Category:Files by H92, hadde vært flott om du kunne sett på galleriet ditt og lagt til litt flere kategorier slik at også andre kan finne og bruke bildene du har lastet opp ;) Finn Rindahl 20:30, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Template:H92/COPY

Could you please explain to me, why it is necessary for everybody who looks at images to know where you have all your accounts, especially on images that you didn't even create yourself (just transfered)? And why is this information so important that the user gets to read it even before (s)he sees the description of the image or the real author? -- Cecil 18:33, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, actually, some time has passed since I created it and I have been marking all the images I upload with it. As the images with this template are not made/taken by me, it’s useless and don’t mind you deleting it for me. ;) I’ve removed it from the pages using it now. — H92 (t · c · no) 18:39, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Your Template

H92, Just for your information. User templates go in your userspace. This evening I saw {{H92}}, so I moved it to {{User:H92/License}}. I also ran my bot around to change uses of original template to the new name. I know this might seem a little strange, but it is best not to clutter the Template: name space with personal stuff. Additionally at least in your User: namespace people generally wont tinker with it. Thanks for the understanding. --ShakataGaNai ^Talk 06:05, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
