Image deletion warning Image:Night view of Taipei City.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.

Well that's ok. But I uploaded the oldest version of that image where the creator is named. Somebody edited this image. You can test it by investigating its file history. I have never ignored any Copyright notifications, that is important for me to recognize for anyone else. -- High Contrast 12:29, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I can see you are correct. The image you uploaded did have the name of the creator on it. However, the creator (Jerome Chen) told me the following requests for the image:
  1. No derived works from this image. Also his name cannot be removed from the image.
  2. Every redistribution and/or copy of the image must notify him in advance.
  3. He does not wish to release the image in GFDL.
So it still not meet the license requirements in commons. Sorry to bother you.--H.T. Chien (Discuss|Contributions) 14:37, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
