It was w:en:Image:Anamorphic_lens_illustration_without_stretching.jpg, in between he has replaced the one I used with another one. Should I use the URL http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/archive/f/f7/20050227040828%21Anamorphic_lens_illustration_without_stretching.jpg to refer to the old version, or is there a better way to do? --Jailbird 22:42, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the info! I notice you scaled down the photo. Perhaps you could re-do it at original size (and just upload it with the same title, "Illustration anamorph letterbox.jpg). We always want the largest possible images here. dbenbenn | talk 3 July 2005 19:33 (UTC)

Hallo Jailbird, ich denke, bei Deinem sehr schönen Bild Image:Analemma pattern in the sky.jpg ist Dir ein kleiner Fehler unterlaufen: Die Tag-und-Nacht-Gleiche am 21.3/21.9. fällt nämlich nicht mit dem Schnittpunkt der "8" zusammen, siehe z.B. hier. Die Extrempunkte in Längsrichtung sind allerdings die Sonnenwenden, also 21. Juni und 22. Dezember. Die Tage, die da stehen, sind die Schnittpunkte mit der Zeitgleichungs-Nulllinie, diese jeweils verschiedenen Tage fallen nicht zusammen. Und Osten ist auch nicht da, wo es eingezeichnet ist, sondern in der Mitte zwischen den Extrempunkten. --androl (talk) 12:10, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

du bist ja lustig. Lizensierst deine Bilder (zumindest Image:Seagate ST-225.jpg) mit CreativeCommons Lizenz, aber nennst deinen Namen nicht!? Wie soll man denn deinen Namen bei Verwendung des Bildes nennen, wenn man ihn nicht kennt? Gutes Foto übrigens. --Afrank99 11:12, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Hallo auch, Andreas. Dein Einwand ist insofern berechtigt, daß mein Name nicht in den Commons oder der Wikipedia steht. Allerdings statte ich alle meine Fotos mit umfangreichen Metadaten (Mediawiki zeigt nicht alle an) aus, in denen alles nötige zu finden ist. Nein, das Bild wurde von der Künstlerin gemacht und der Tabernakel befindet sich in Privatbesitz. Ist also nicht öffentlich zugänglich. Das habe ich gerade auf meine Rückfrage beim Besitzer bestätigt bekommen.Du kannst natürlich "In Privatbesitz" zur Beschreibung hinzufügen wenn Du das für nötig hältst. --Jailbird 20:40, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

HI, Jailbird. I was curious if you still remember the make/model of File:Tulip Lens Hood.jpg. I think I know which one it is, but it'd be good to add it to the description.
