Astronaut Citizenship Map edit
Hello! There was a discussion about this when we first created the map, and the policy is that it shows countries where astronauts held citizenship when they flew. The Czech Republic wasn't a sovereign state when Remek went to space, so it would be misleading to highlight it, even though he is a Czech citizen now. An alternative would be to create a map with an inset showing Cold War-era borders, which would allow the USSR, the two Germanies, and Czechoslovakia to be shown as sovereign states whose citizens have flown to space, and if you'd like to create such a map, that would be great!--Astrofreak92 (talk) 03:02, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
