Bonjour J’ai quelques remarques à faire sur la carte. Mais comme je suis bien conscient de la difficulté de faire un bonne carte historique, je vais aussi faire des remarques positives :

Bonjour. Je suis toujours preneur pour améliorer une de mes cartes. Donc merci pour vos remarques.

le trait de côte tient compte du marais poitevin, peut-être non-comblé à cette époque : comment ce creux est documenté ? (même remarque pour le trait de côte flamand) ;

Cette carte est tirée originellement d'une carte de Shepherd. Je ne sais pas comment il a reconstitué ce trait de côte. Je préfère néanmoins le garder plutôt que de mettre le tracé actuel, qui ne serait pas correct (ça on en est sûr). Ça permet d'indiquer que les côtes étaient différentes à l'époque - même si ce n'est pas le sujet de la carte.

par contre, je suis moins sur du creux de l’estuaire de la Seine ;

Exact, c'est une exagération de la carte de Shepherd, elle-même assez imprécise à cet endroit. Je vais corriger.

la déclinaison des couleurs pour les domaines Plantagenêt est une très bonne idée : l’ensemble Maine-Anjou-Touraine, l’ensemble aquitain, la Normandie, la Bretagne, l’Angleterre, outre les dates d’acquisition, ont des statuts différents ;

Les statuts ne sont pas indiqués, mais tant mieux si ça correspond. Peut-être devrais-je les indiquer ?

la mention Vassaux du roi de France est par contre une idée moyenne : pour ses domaines continentaux, le Plantagenêt est vassal du roi de France, et c’est même ce qui explique la « victoire finale » des Capétiens au XIIIe siècle. Visuellement, les vassaux du roi de France forment un bloc, placé derrière le roi de France, alors que certains de ces vassaux peuvent lutter contre lui, ou ne pas l’aider, selon les moments. Je pense qu’il vaut mieux passer par la légende classique : Fiefs mouvants (d’autant que de nombreux vassaux du roi d’Angleterre se retournent contre lui après sa félonie) ;

C'est de ma faute, sur la carte originale les possessions françaises des Plantagenêts sont entourées par un trait montrant qu'elles font parties du domaine royal. Je vais ajouter un tel trait, et remplacer le texte « Vassaux du roi de France » par « Fiefs mouvants du roi de France ».

de même, comté de Toulouse est un peu abusif : c’est plutôt possessions du comte de Toulouse, qui lui aussi est vassal du roi de France, et qui lui aussi sera victime de cette vassalité. Une couleur unissant le tout est par contre une bonne idée ;

Je vais préciser ces possessions ; la couleur de ce territoire ne devrait-elle pas être dans les tons vert ? Là on a l'impression qu'il est « indépendant ».

les enclaves autour de Bourges et de Reims ne seraient-elles pas plutôt des fiefs ecclésiastiques que des possessions du roi de France ? K800i (talk) 10:14, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Pour Bourges, elle fait partie du domaine royal depuis 1101. Pour Reims je ne sais pas, je suppose qu'elle en fait partie aussi. Mais c'étaient aussi le siège d'archevêchés, l'un n'empêchant pas l'autre.

Suite de la conversation. Je suis d’accord avec tes remarques et merci pour tes explications. Je commente ta réponse :

• en 1154, le comté de Reims est un fief d’Église, normalement inaliénable, depuis plus d’un siècle ([1]) ;
• pour la couleur des possessions toulousaines, je ne suis pas expert, mais mon premier mouvement a été oui ; et en fait, tout ce qui fait partie du royaume est bien différencié du reste du continent, donc ce n’est peut-être pas indispensable ;
• il est inutile et trop compliqué d’indiquer les statuts de tous les fiefs Plantagenêt, le régime féodal étant parfois assez compliqué. K800i (talk) 17:22, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Suite de cette conversation en pointillés :)

• J'ai carrément refait la carte au format SVG, ce sera plus facile s'il y a besoin de la retoucher : File:France 1154-fr.svg.
• J'ai changé les couleurs, bleu pour la France et rouge pour les Plantagenêts. Le royaume de France est entouré d'un trait bleu, maintenant on voit bien que les Plantagenêts sont vassaux du roi de France pour tous ces territoires. Les possessions du Comte de Toulouse sont dans une autre couleur de bleu.

J'espère que cette carte est maintenant correcte. S'il y a encore des choses à améliorer, n'hésitez pas à m'en faire part.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Bon, ça me fait un peu suer de discuter avec un robot, mais

1. je suis francophone : je ne peux donc contribuer efficacement qu’en français ;
2. je suis documentaliste : je suis donc spécialiste de la classification, de la catégorisation et tutti quanti. Comme je ne peux (voir 1) travailler efficacement avec un système de classification anglophone, je met le maximum de mots clés que je juge pertinents dans la description, afin justement que l’on puisse retrouver ces images. Bonjour

Je suis très étonné par la légende de File:Chaumes de lavande.JPG. Cela m’a tout l’air d’être de vulgaires bottes de paille (protégées par du plastique : on ne fait pas ça avec un résidu destiné à la décomposition). Vous êtes vous approchée pour respirer le parfum ?
