Speedy deletion

Regarding this edit, two points:

• One, per Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion, the reasons for which a file can be speedily deleted are limited to cases where it is obvious that it does not belong on Commons. While criterion G10 does allow for deletion of advertisements, this is is for obviously promotional content (usually from editors who come here only to advertise). I know nothing about the uploader, but they clearly upload a wide variety of files. If they are actually spamming, that is better established in a regular deletion request (and/or at COM:AN/U) - where there is room to present evidence - rather than a speedy deletion request.
• Two, if an admin declines a speedy deletion request, do not simply re-add it. It is your responsibility to then file a deletion request if you believe the file should be deleted. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:43, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

renaming of files

Please have a close look at Commons:File renaming#Leaving redirects. Files that are uploaded a year ago are for sure not recently uploaded files. Therefore I had to revert your bad DR of File:Gerb pk.jpg and will look for others. Regards, Achim55 (talk) 08:12, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello, @4nn1l2. IMG 3274 is unnecessary and reduces the reader's attention on the title. Also, The IMG phrase is a random title assigned by the cameras. Criterion No. 6 does not apply here. Please note that COM:FNC specifically states "If possible, language and schema should be preserved, as well as the camera or catalogue number."

I have uploaded this file myself. Please note that the camera number may be needed when communicating with the managers of the artists. For example, the person who sent me this file identifies it as the 3274 photo. If you look at the Category:Ayşegül Coşkun, almost all of them have a camera number.

Telif hakkı saklı resimler VP:AKP uyarınca Vikipedi sürümlerine lokal olarak yüklenebilirler, CC lisanslılar ise şuanda sizinle iletişim kurduğumuz proje olan Commons'a yüklenebilirler. Fotoğrafların telif hakkı çekendedir. Bunun yanında VOA ve Flickr siteleri gibi istisnai durumlar ve lisanslar da mevcuttur. That is just your opinion. I see that a different admin above has already reminded you to be careful about overusing G10. By definition this image is not obviously promotional, since an admin agreed to restore it. Merhaba, Resim yüklemeyle ilgili bulabildiğim her şeyi okudum Vikipedi'de. Fakat açıklamaların karışık yazıldığını düşünüyorum. Tesmi aldığım kaynakta (sitede, http://www.burakozguner.com/bio/) şöyle bir ifade olmasına rağmen telif hakkı ihlali diyor: "© Copyright - BURAK ÖZGÜNER. 2020 Bu sayfadaki tüm içeriği dünyanın her yerine yayabilirsiniz." Child pornography suspicions

You closed Commons:Deletion requests/File:Anus and perineum of teen boy.jpg and Commons:Deletion requests/File:Anatomy of male perineum.jpg with this message:

Deleted: per nomination: It does not seem possible for us to count the uploader's statements as conclusive evidence about whether the person in the picture is under the age of 18. The person may be under 18 or not. Distributing and producing child porn in this way in a public platform constitutes a serious crime under international law. The fact that this possibility exists in this picture is a problem in itself. This image may not be the uploader itself, it may be a child. Since we can't see his face, we have no chance to investigate further and reduce the possibilities. I am deleting this image using the Occam's razor principle.

Could you elaborate? Everything you say (except for the first sentence) is also true for many other explicit images on Commons. Most of those files don’t even claim to show adults. So why are the files in these DRs deleted but not all those other files?

@Brianjd, It was obvious that the man in the picture was a teenager. We can tell from the picture whether the man is young or old. It was this issue that raised the possibility. The rationale “personal photo by non contributor” doesn’t strike me as applicable here. There is insufficient precedent that this automatically applies to any AI generated image not in use; in general I think speedy deletes are supposed to be uncontroversial. They cited a deletion discussion of derivative works as the rationale, but the file does not depict a recognizable character. Plus it’s only been 3 days. Could you please undelete and let the discussion actually run it’s course? I would normally send to undelete requests but the original was deleted out of process before it even finished. One hint for you when cleaning and protecting pages after vandalism. Please always mark all edits on the page as patrolled. If that is not done the edits show up again when looking for new vandalism edits.
