Click the "Signature and timestamp"-button to sign your talkpage contributions
As a courtesy to other editors, it is Commons:Signatures policy to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, deletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then automatically be added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.

Latinization edit

When latinizing Cyrillic, do it in Czech/Croat manner, so Дзмітрый Васілевіч Рэкіш = Dzmitryj Vasilievič Rekiš, etc... — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2001:985:D5D4:1:A00:27FF:FEA6:A2E7 (talk) 19:05, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Even German Dschmitryj Wasiliewitsch Rekisch is superior! — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2001:985:D5D4:1:A00:27FF:FEA6:A2E7 (talk) 19:07, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Abolishing anglicized monsters like "Dzmitry Vasilevich Rekish". — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2001:985:D5D4:1:A00:27FF:FEA6:A2E7 (talk) 19:19, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

These anglicized monstrosities in Cyrillic read like: Дзмітры Васілэвіх Рэкіш, if White Anglo-Saxon Protestants would be smart, they would write: Dshmitryj Vasilievitsh Rekish. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2001:985:D5D4:1:A00:27FF:FEA6:A2E7 (talk) 19:29, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

File:Real black hole (Lolsoly).jpg edit

What is the purpose of the File:Real black hole (Lolsoly).jpg crop? Please add a description to the file describing why it's cropped that way.--BevinKacon (talk) 20:31, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your username in cropped images edit

Hi Lolsoly! I'd like to ask you what is the purpose of the images that you crop. Also, I'd like to ask you to stop adding your username into the file names, that's not common here. You can use "cropped" instead which better describes the nature of your crops. Regards, --Podzemnik (talk) 23:23, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Only one version of a photo can be a QI. In this case it is the original. The QI stamp on this cropped version will be removed. --Cart (talk) 15:01, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your username in cropped images - again edit

You have already been warned not to put your username in the title of cropped images. It is against the naming policy. Contrary to what you think, it is not your image. As the one who has altered the image, your name belongs along with the original author in the "author=" in the description, where you can write what you have done. Also please respect that there can only be one version of an image with a QI stamp, usually the first. You are using the commons license a bit too liberal. If you continue with this behavior, the next step is COM:ANU. --Cart (talk) 15:10, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
