First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

La tua richiesta di spostamento è eccessiva, ho annullato ma perché non c'ho tempo di andare chirurgicamente adesso. Te lo dico da mover. Per capirci è una file definito: corretta la data, il soggetto ritratto (il complesso dei Salesiani, ce è al centro della foto), le categorie, la descrizione del luogo in cui è fatta la foto. Mica ho scritto che è il compelsso "a lato della foto" ma che sto vedendo il complesso lateralmente, che per me era un modo di porre in risalto il fatto che non era la facciata, le coordiante su wikidata mi sa che danno ancora la facciata sulla strada (e poi fa fede l'indirizzo ufficiale, come messo dall'UNIPI, per definire cosa è il "lato" per me). Potresti non caprilo tu subito (ma lo capirebbero altri) però avete tutte le infromazioni che servono e non c'è nulla di errato. Non c'è quindi nessun motivo di ridefinire il titolo. Non è un file che crea confusione. In generale ti ricordo che i mover sono molto severi su cosa è eccessivo nel rifare un titolo, spesso esagerano ma qui con il fatto che hai pure mancato uno dei due file era più semplice togliere la richiesta.--Alexmar983 (talk) 16:05, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Alexmar983: se per "lateralmente" intendi rispetto al lato che dà sulla strada, allora quello non è lateralmente, è il retro. L'indirizzo infatti è su via dei Mille, non su via Santa Maria, e su Wikidata le coordinate sono vicino a via dei Mille. In ogni caso, la descrizione ora è a posto; spostali tu se lo ritieni opportuno --Lombres (talk) 16:22, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

A me ha fregato le strade storte di Pisa, erano meno storte di quanto mi immaginavo. E comunque considerando che il retro è pur sempre un lato e che tutte le informazioni erano lì non c'era ancora bisogno di partire a una rinomina per giunta togliendo altra informazione dal titolo. Al massimo dovevi prendere i due file e far sostituire "laterale" con "retro", minima invasività. Possibilmente dopo aver aggiornato la descrizione (a che serve correggere un titolo se la descrizione è errata?). Son tutte cose che un mover controlla. Per il futuro la cosa più semplice è comunque contattare l'autore prima di rinominare. Conviene sempre evitare di propagare atteggiamenti "muscolari" che tanto alla fine il tempo perso se lo guardi è di più.--Alexmar983 (talk) 18:38, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
