Hallo, ich habe gesehen, dass Du (eigene) Bilder auf Commons übertragen hast. Da gibt es ein paar Regeln, die man bitte einhalten sollte. Diese Tool holt sich alle Informationen und bietet eine fast fertige Beschreibung für Commons an. Normalerweise ist nichts bzw. ganz wenig manuel nach zu bessern. Es wäre nett, wenn Du zukünftig, alle notwendigen Informationen bei einem "Umzug" angeben würdest. Nur dann kann das entsprechende Bild auf de:Wikipedia gelöscht werden. Wappen des Kreises Lippe

Moin Ludger, du hast ja das Wappen Image:Kreiswappen des Kreises Lippe.svg hochgeladen. Es entspricht aber nicht dem in der Hauptsatzung des Kreises spezifizierten Wappen. Zwar besteht bei einer Blasonierung grundsätzlich ein gewisser Gestaltungsspielraum, aber da der Kreis sich ja für eine konkrete Gestaltung entschieden hat, hielte ich es für besser, dieser Gestaltung zu folgen. --::Slomox:: >< 19:54, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Dargestellt habe ich in Silber eine rote fünfblätterige Rose mit goldenen Butzen und goldenen Kelchblättern. Also entspricht das von mir entworfene Wappen voll und ganz der Blasonierung. Als ein seit nunmehr schon mehr als zwei Jahren aktiver Wikipedianer nehme ich das Urheberrecht sehr ernst. Im vorliegenden Falle wie bei Wappen allgemein auch meine ich die unter Wikipedia:Wappen vorgetragenen Bedenken. Diese beziehen sich auf die künstlerische Gestaltung, auf der häufig noch ein Urheberrecht (des darstellenden Künstlers) liegt.
Da ich nun auch aktives Mitglied beim Wappenprojekt der französischen Wikipedia bin, entspricht das von mir dargestellte Wappen den dortigen Vorgaben. Zu den ausdrücklichen Zielen dieses Projektes gehört es, eine umfassende und kohärente Darstellung der verschiedenen Wappen der Welt zusammenzustellen, die in jeder Hinsicht frei im Sinne der Wikipedia sind. Es gibt aber in der Hauptsatzung eine Anlage zu § 2 (1). Und die zeigt das konkret verwendete Wappen. Was nützt es, wenn das Wappen der Blasonierung entspricht, nicht aber dem konkret vom Kreis geführten Wappen? Und wenn man der Argumentation des Wappens als amtliches Werk nach § 5 Abs. 1 UrhG folgt, dann muss die Gemeinfreiheit sich auch auf die der Hauptsatzung als Anlage beigefügte Wappendarstellung beziehen. Selbst wenn die Urheberrechtsbedenken bei anderen Wappen gültig sind (was ich bezweifele, spontan aber nicht stichhaltig entkräften kann), so ist dieser konkrete Fall doch klar, da ja die grafische Wappendarstellung Teil des amtlichen Dokumentes ist und damit amtliches Werk. --::Slomox:: >< 11:23, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Hallo Ludger. Seit gestern bin ich im Besitz einer amtlichen Jpeg-Reproduktion des Wappen des Kreises Lippe. Es handelt sich um ein Jepg-File in 1162x1316 Auflösung [[

Da Du der Autor des File:Kreiswappen des Kreises Lippe.svg bist, würde ich Dir das Erstrecht der Anpassung dieses SVGs gerne einräumen. :) Sollte ich innerhalb 1 Woche keine Reaktion haben, werde ich oder andere Wikipedia das wohl in Angriff nehmen. PS: Wikipedia hat bei der Darstellung offenbar interne Probleme, schwarz wird als weiß dargestellt, da es ein 4-plane (CYMK?) Jpeg ist. Aber die Struktur insbesondere die Punzung in der Mitte ist klar erkennbar und da Weiß in der Lippischen Rose nicht benutzt wird, sollte das auch kein Problem sein. . Aus der Hauptsatzung geht hervor, dass es sich bei der fraglichen Datei nicht um ein Wappen, sondern um das Dienstsiegel der Gemeinde handelt. Wieso hast du also die Kategorieänderungen wieder rückgängig gemacht? Gruß--Notschrei 19:00, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Dies tat ich, da es sich bei der genannten Datei „für mich offensichtlich“ um ein Wappen und nicht um ein Siegel handelt. Vergleiche doch einmal die dargestellten Dateien in der Kategorie Seals of municipalities of Germany (Siegel) resp. ihren übergeordneten Kategorien mit denen in der Kategorie Coats of arms from the Landkreis Wittenberg (Wappen). Zudem lautet ja auch der fragliche Dateiname „Grossnaundorfwappen.PNG“, nicht etwa „Grossnaundorfsiegel.PNG“, und auf der Bildbeschreibungsseite steht:

|Description=Wappen von Groß Naundorf (Sachsen-Anhalt)

Aber sicherlich kannst du (oder ein anderer freundlicher Mensch) mir den Link auf die von dir genannte Hauptsatzung mitteilen, die mir nicht vorliegt, obwohl ich nach ihr gesucht habe. Gruß zurück --ludger1961 22:57, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Ich bin zwar eher Laie, aber dass das das ein nach heraldischen Regeln erstelltes Wappen ist, glaube ich weniger. Dass der Hochlader es für ein Wappen gehalten hat, ist nicht verwunderlich, in dem Fall aber schlichtweg falsch. Bitteschön, hier ist die Hauptsatzung, erreibar über diese Seite. Der relevante Abschnitt: Die Gemeinde führt ein Dienstsiegel, das dem der Hauptsatzung beigefügtem Dienstsiegelabdruck entspricht. Die Umschrift lautet "Gemeinde Groß Naundorf", in der Mitte befindet sich ein Bild, das ein von rechts nach links springendes Pferd auf angedeutetem Gelände zeigt. If you look up arte en el Diccionario de la Real Academia, you'll see it's a term of ambigous gender. If you read the phrases below, you can see some of them use the feminine (Bellas Artes) and others use the masculine (arte abastracto). Marcial Prado's Diccionario de falsos amigos inglés-español tries to put it simple, without listing all the exceptions:

"Arte es masculino en singular y femenino en plural, por ejemplo, arte mexicano y artes mexicanas. Sin embargo, obsérvese la expresión clásica femenina arte poética" (page 57).

User:Tintero, who is a native Spanish speaker as I am, preferred the masculine form Arte no fotográfico. Anyway, maybe the best solution was to translate the sense. I wrote arte because I was translated from English and this term is similar and related to art, but I doubt a hispanohablante would have chosen arte no fotográfico to describe that gallery if we were writing originally instead of translating. Art in English has a narrow sense, refering specifically to the visual arts, while arte in Spanish is more often used to mean music or other arts. Questionable redirect

I see that you have redirected Category:Funeral chapels to Category:Cemetery chapels. At least in the U.S., most funeral chapels are not physically located at a cemetery, nor do they have an affiliation with any one cemetery. So I believe this redirect is wrong. I can't tell offhand what was in the category before, because you (or someone) have already moved it all by the time I noticed. I see that you moved File:Seattle - Butterworth funeral home chapel - 1900.jpg, which I uploaded. It was definitely not associated with a cemetery, it was in the heart of Downtown Seattle. - Jmabel ! talk 05:13, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Oh I see, so the situation in your country is quite different from where I live. My edit has been done in good faith, but now I see I was wrong. Sorry! I have just undone the redirect and added
{{see also|Category:Cemetery chapels}} there and
{{see also|Category:Funeral chapels}} at the other category.
The questioned category has nearly been empty, most of the files actually showing cemetery chapels. There have only been two files showing funeral chapels (like the one you named) which I have just now moved back to the original place. Thanks. Yes, I suspected this was an international difference. My mother died in the UK, where the situation is more like you describe. And we do have chapels at many cemeteries here. FWIW, many cemeteries in the U.S. completely lack a religious affiliation, probably part of the reason for the difference. For example, Lake View Cemetery, Seattle has everyone from Greek Orthodox to Buddhists in the same cemetery. - Jmabel ! talk 16:06, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Subdivisions of the Philippines

I've deleted this page since it seemed to be an encyclopedia article, which is outside Commons' scope. Please let me know if I've made a mistake.  — Mike.lifeguard | ^@en.wb 03:16, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

You deleted it without any warning and without any discussion, giving me no chance to to react and telling my arguments why I created this page. I am totally scared and angry about your behaviour! Will you please take note of the article Verwaltungsgliederung Deutschlands, that means subdivisions of Germany in German, in existance since 2005-12-23T13:32:35 and see the history of this article. Quite a lot of people use this article for now more than three years as an undoubtedly necessary means to see which categories and articles of the subdivisions of Germany still exist and which still are missing and can be created, following the common naming conventions.

This article, written in German, for many German contributors to the Commons do not speak English, has been a template for me to create Subdivisions of the Philippines. As a German having relatives and friends in this beautiful country, which I was able to visit myself, I started to categorise many files uploaded to the Commons dealing with the Philippines. Imagine, many Philippine contributors to the Commons do not know about categorisation here, and so it is no wonder many categories not only for the subdivisons still are missing. If you look to the contributions of some of those contributors, you can see that they uploaded dozens of files each - giving no single categorisation to any of their files. In total there are some hundred or even many more files which are nor or only unsufficiently categorised.

So I hope you agree the article I created is a necessary means for the correct categorisation of files dealing with the Philippines, just as undoubtedly for now more than three years is Verwaltungsgliederung Deutschlands for files dealing with Germany, fully in the scope of our common work here at Commons. The scope of both articles has to do only with Commons, not with any of the encyclopedic articles in one of the many language versions of the Wikipedia.

In my eyes your deletion of the article Subdivisions of the Philippines has been a mistake. I would be very grateful if you undo this deletion. Please give it back not only to me, but to the whole community I created it for. --ludger1961 (talk) 05:00, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Purple and white category

J'ai vu que tu a crée la categorie Purple and white in heraldry et d'autres categories de ce type. A mon avis, ca n'est pas correcte parce que l'heraldique prefere les termes argent et or, tandis que les termes jaune et blanche sont limités seulement a ces blason qui portent ces couleurs naturels (peut etre boeufs, nuages etc, figures pour lesquelles on use aussi l'or et l'argent). La categorie purple and white c'est correcte pour les bannieres, mais non pour les blasons. A bientot Massimop (talk) 17:23, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Hallo. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn Du mal schauen könntest, ob das Wappen von Langenhagen so korrekt ist. Es wurde auf Basis einer sehr schlechten png-Datei erstellt, offenbar aber nicht von einem Heraldiker. Da Du Dich mit Heraldik befasst, kannst Du vielleicht irgendwie herausfinden, ob es sich bei dem Wappen um eine dem Original nahekommende Abbildung handelt. Die Stadt Langenhagen verwendet inzwischen statt des Wappens nur ein modernes Logo, sodass ein Vergleich mit deren Webpräsenz keinen Sinn hat. 85.179.36.129 20:48, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Hallo Ludger. "Symbols from ..." heißt für mich soviel wie "Symbole aus ...". Meinst du nicht, dass diese Form für andere Mitstreiter irreführend sein könnte? Die in den Kategorien "Symbols of ..." gelisteten Bilder (of Germany by city) verweisen ja stets auf die jeweiligen Städte, eben so, wie es die Eigenart von Symbolen ist. Danke, BlackIceNRW, für deine Nachfrage. Du hast recht wenn du feststellst, dass sich der Unterschied insbesondere für Menschen mit anderer Muttersprache als Englisch nicht unmittelbar erschließt. Was ich beabsichtige wird vielleicht klar, wenn du dir vor Augen hältst, dass im Englischen „Symbols of …“ (entsprechend „Coats of arms of …“, „Flags of …“, …) den Genitiv bezeichnet, also beispielsweise „Symbols of Munich“ und „Coats of arms of Munich“ mit der Bedeutung „Symbole Münchens“ und „Wappen Münchens“. Hier ist jeweils eindeutig die Stadt München gemeint. Nehmen wir jetzt als Beispiel File:Wappen-Schwabing.png, das Wappen der ehemaligen Stadt Schwabing vor ihrer Eingemeindung nach München 1890, so war dieses Wappen zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein „Wappen Münchens“, also „Wappen der Stadt München“. Aber du wirst mir sicherlich zustimmen, dass es der Category:Coats of arms from Munich zugehört, so wie du es in deiner Anfrage ausgedrückt hast ein „Wappen aus München“. In diese Kategorie kommen zudem noch weitere Wappen, die zwar nicht städtisch sind, trotzdem aber der Stadt örtlich zuzurechnen sind. Außer also wie im hiesigen Beispiel Schwabings eine vormals selbständige Gemeinde, die nach München eingemeindet wurde, desweiteren auch Behörden (Gerichte etc.), Körperschaften (Kirchengemeinden, Gilden, Zünfte, …) und Personen oder Personengruppen (hier die Famillie Schrenck von Notzing).

Diese feine semantische Unterscheidung ist nicht wirklich trivial, in meinen Augen aber für ein sauberes Arbeiten durchaus notwendig. Vielleicht wäre dir mit einem Hinweis gedient, den es in einigen ähnlich (wenn auch nicht gleich) gelagerten Fällen gibt. Hier als Beispiel in der Einleitung der Category:Crosses in heraldry:

crosses in heraldry Attention: This category contains media relating to crosses in heraldry. It is a subcategory of Category:Heraldic figures. In this context, as for all the other subcategories of Category:Heraldic figures, ...in heraldry means ...in shield, not ...in crest, in the same way as the “Category:Heraldic figures” must not be confused with the “Category:Heraldic external ornaments”. (It is just semantics, since they are actually “in heraldry” and “heraldic figures”.)

Hallo,

Du hast die o.g. Kategorie und diverse Unterkategorien angelegt. Warum hast Du dabei immer zwei Kategorien mit "...of Plauen" und "...from Plauen" angelegt? Macht das bei den wenigen Dateien wirklich Sinn? Kannst Du da vielleicht ggf. nochmal "aufräumen"?

Wenn du oben im Abschnitt

"Symbols from ..." / "Symbols of ..."

nachschaust, siehst du, dass ich deine Frage schon einmal in einem anderen Zusammenhang beantwortet habe. Bei einer (ehemals) kreisfreien Stadt wie zum Beispiel Plauen gibt es eine Vielzahl an Wappen und Flaggen, vor allem aber Dienstsiegeln von Behörden und früher selbständigen Gemeinden, die seit ihrer Eingemeindung Teil dieser Stadt sind. Diese Hoheitszeichen sind mit Sicherheit nicht Symbole Plauens, sind dieser Stadt aber durchaus zuzuordnen. Jede der hier genannten Gemeinden hatte vor der Eingemeindung mindestens ein Siegel, viele sogar mehrere. Aber keines davon war ein Symbol Plauens.

Zudem: Bei weitem noch nicht alle Siegel Plauens, die sich im Laufe der Jahrzehnte und Jahrhunderte in ihrer Gestalt und Gestaltung verändert haben, sind bereits hochgeladen, zumindest aber noch nicht unter der Category:Plauen oder einer ihrer Unterkategorien einkategorisiert. Während einer längeren Zeitphase, in der ich aus beruflichen Gründen privat kaum online war, habe ich eine größere Anzahl an Dateien für zumeist deutsche Wappen, Flaggen und Siegel zum Upload vorbereitet. Dabei ist es eine große Arbeitserleichterung und Zeitersparnis, wenn ich beim Upload in der Artikelbeschreibung gleich die „treffenden“ Kategorien eingeben kann.

Ich freue mich, wenn ich dir bei der Klärung dieser Frage helfen konnte, und auf weitere gute Zusammenarbeit.

Zwei Nachfragen habe ich aber noch. 1.) Wäre es vielleicht sinnvoll die Kategorie Emblems of Plauen mit zu integrieren? 2.) Warum hast Du die Oberkategorie Symbols from Plauen vor allen anderen Kategorien in der Kategorie Plauen einsortiert und nicht unter "S"? War das Absicht?

Bild vom Benteler-Haupteingang

@Ludger; dieses Bild in de:Paderborn-Schloß Neuhaus#Geschichte zeigt am linken Rand den zerschnittenen halben Pylon, der manchen Leuten kulturgeschinchtlich bedeutsamer sein dürfte als ganz Bentler. Ich würde vorschlagen, den im genannten Bentlerbild ganz wegzuschneiden und dem Artikel (und dem Baudenkmal-Artikel) ein neues Bild mit beiden Pylonen (in Blickrichtung Schloss) zu gönnen. Deines Reverts und die Kontur, die Du für "überflüssig" hältst. 1. ein Webseiten-Logo ist keine wirkliche Referenz 2. ist es unheraldisch 3. die „offiziellen“ Quellen sind natürlich mit Kontur, s. Ämter, ngw, usw (altenbeken-tourismus und etwas laienhaft Wanderweg Flyer). Daher würde ich diese wieder revertieren, wenn Du nicht wirkliche Argumente bringst (mal davon abgesehen, dass ich nicht mal eine konkrete Quelle für Deine Interpretation gefunden habe). Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze

Hallo Ludger1961,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Entschuldigung, aber ich hatte dich nicht ignoriert. Die Wikipedia und die mit ihr verbundenen Projekte sind rein ehrenamtliche Projekte. Dazu gehört, dass alle, die hier mitarbeiten, so auch ich, innerhalb der ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit sich einbringen. Ich bin in Vollzeit berufstätig und habe darüber hinaus im realen Leben außerhalb des Internets Verpflichtungen. Sehr häufig habe ich nur wenige Male pro Woche oder sogar nur im Abstand von mehreren Wochen Zeit und Gelegenheit, in der wp und/oder den commons zu editieren, und dann zum Teil dafür nur wenige Minuten zur Verfügung. Daher bitte ich um Verständnis dafür, dass ich gegen meinen Willen auf einige Anliegen nicht innerhalb der von mir selbst als wünschenswert angesehenen Zeit antworten kann und im Zweifel Prioritäten setzen muss.

Nun zu deiner eigentlichen Anfrage: Ich hatte bei meinem Edit vor allem die Vorlage für Flaggen ausdrückliche vorgesehene Vorlage {{Infobox flag}} eingefügt sowie in erheblichem Umfang bislang fehlende Angaben zu der abgebildeten Flagge eingefügt. Die beiden Vorlagen {{Information}} und {{Infobox flag}} kollidieren allerdings miteinander. Wie du aber unschwer erkennen kannst, sind alle laut {{Information}} notwendigen Angaben auch in verschiedenen Sprachversionen durch {{int:filedesc}}, {{int:source}}, {{int:license-header}} und {{int:seealso}} mit angegeben.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen

Hallo Ludger1961,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Moin Ludger1961, ich habe gerade gesehen, dass du File:Hissflagge der Samtgemeinde Selsingen.svg erstellt hast. Da es ja viele Gemeinden und Samtgemeinden gibt, die Flaggen haben, aber deren Flaggen bisher nicht auf Wikipedia (oder sonst irgendwo im Internet, außer beschrieben in der Hauptsatzung) vorhanden sind, wollte ich mal fragen, ob du da eine systematische Herangehensweise hast und ob ich darauf hoffen kann, dass du eventuell weitere Flaggen aus meinem Beabeitungsgebiet (Elbe-Weser-Dreieck) erstellen wirst?

Ich habe bei meiner Artikelarbeit an Orts- und Gemeindeartikeln regelmäßig festgestellt, dass die Flaggen stiefmütterlich behandelt werden. Ich bin das Thema aber bisher nie angegangen, weil es eine relativ große Aufgabe ist, mit der ich mich zuvor kaum beschäftigt habe. du hast recht, dass es sich hier um ein von vielen stiefmütterlich behandeltes Thema handelt. Zu einem systematischen Herangehen an den von dir genannten geographischen Raum fehlt mir derzeit einfach die Zeit. Mein erster Test ist jetzt File:Hissflagge der Gemeinde Heinbockel.svg. Ein bisschen Kritik würde mich freuen. Habe ich Fehler gemacht? Gibt es eigentlich ein Standard-Seitenverhältnis? Du hast bei Selsingen 5:3, ich habe bei Heinbockel 3:2. Zunächst einmal herzlichen Dank für deine aktive Beteiligung am Flaggenprojekt, insbesondere für den gelungenen Einstand mit der von dir erstellten Hissflagge der Gemeinde Heinbockel. Bevor ich auf Einzelheiten der Artikelbeschreibung eingehe, die ich bereits an einigen Punkten überarbeitet habe, antworte ich dir gerne.

1. Die von dir mit eingezeichneten Konturlinien sind entbehrlich. Allerdings hatte ich diese bei meinen ersten erstellten Flaggendateien auch noch gezeichnet, wie du an File:Banner der Stadt Bad Lippspringe.png und File:Flagge der Stadt Nieheim.png sehen kannst. Bei File:Flagge der Stadt Nieheim.svg habe ich das dann deutlich später korrigiert. Einen äußeren Rahmen für eine Flaggenabbildung erreichst du mit {{Easy border|Flag}}.
2. Auf echten Flaggen wirst du nur in seltenen Fällen Verläufe sehen wie bei der goldenen Urne im grünen Schildfuß des Wappens der Gemeinde Heinbockel. Enstprechend heißt es auch beispielsweise bei Flaggenbeschreibungen in der Kommunalen Wappenrolle Schleswig-Holstein immer wieder „in flaggengerechter Tingierung“, so bei der Gemeinde Wrixum, Kreis Nordfriesland und vielen weiteren. Dabei kommt es häufig zu einer gegenüber dem Wappen deutlich weiter vereinfachten bildlichen Darstellung.
3. Nun zum Seitenverhältnis. In Deutschland wird für Hissflaggen in der weit überwiegenden Anzahl Verhältnis der Breite zur Höhe von fünf zu drei angewandt. Vereinfacht gesagt: Wenn in der Genehmigungsurkunde und/oder der Hauptsatzung sonst nichts festgelegt ist, kann fast immer von diesem Verhältnis ausgegangen werden.

Hallo MaxxL, und ich tue dies auch bei vielen Siegeln. Eines der Ziele hier bei Commons ist, sofern für eine Datei eine Georeferenzierung möglich ist, diese auch mit anzugeben. Bei den Wappen und Flaggen, die sich (nicht immer stationär) an einem bestimmten geographischen Punkt befinden, ist das erwünscht und möglich. Bei vielen Dateien ist das aber nicht sinnvoll. Sehen wir uns dazu die nachstehende Bildergalerie an:

Das erste Bild zeigt das Wappen der Gemeinde Borchen, wie es der Regierungspräsident in Detmold am 18. September 1975 genehmigte. Welche Georeferenzierung wäre hier sinnvoll? Der Sitz der Genehmigungsbehörde, hier der Regierung in Detmold, oder der Ort des Wappenträgers, hier also der Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung? Diese befand sich ursprünglich und auch zum Zeitpunkt der Genehmigung von Wappen und Flagge im Amtshaus des ehemailgen Amtes Kirchborchen im Ortsteil Nordborchen an der heutigen Paderborner Straße. Aber mit Bezug des neuen Rathauses 1984, dessen Grundstein 1983 gelegt wurde, verlegte die Gemeinde Borchen ihren Sitz in den Ortsteil Kirchborchen. Hier ist sinnvoll: Location not applicable!

Das zweite Bild zeigt des Borchener Gemeindewappen am heutigen Rathaus. Eine eindeutige Georeferenzierung ist eingetragen:
{{object location dec|51.6571|8.7225|region:DE-NW}}. An weiteren Orten im Gemeindegebiet finden sich ebenfalls weitere Darstellungen des Wappens.

Dieselbe Georeferenzierung wie für das zweite Bild gilt auch für das dritte Bild. Das auf dem zweiten Bild dargestellte Wappen ist hier am linken Bildrand zu sehen. Weshalb ich dieses Bild aber ausgesucht habe ist die Beflaggung. Am mittleren Flaggenmast gehisst ist Schwarz-Rot-Gold. (Welche Georeferenzierung sollte etwa für Flag of Germany.svg gelten?) Dazu die daneben gehisste Gemeindeflagge Borchens, vom Betrachter aus links, und die Flagge der Borchener Partnerstadt Schwarzenberg im Erzgebirge, vom Betrachter aus rechts. Diese Stadt befindet sich aber einige hundert Kilometer weiter östlich, eben im Erzgebirge.

Einer anderen Georeferenzierung bedarf das vierte Bild, deren Hauptmotiv das Banner der Gemeinde Borchen ist. Aufgenommen wurde dieses Foto im Borchener Ortsteil Alfen. Zu erkennen sind der Turm der alten und der Turm neuen Pfarrkirche St. Walburga im Ortskern. Hier steht in der Artikelbeschreibung derzeit noch das Template {{Location possible}} mit der Einladung, entsprechend dem WikiProjekt Georeferenzierung die passenden Koordinaten herauszusuchen und einzutragen.

Das fünfte Bild zeigt eine rote Kfz-Zulassungsplakette der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf mit ihrem Stadtwappen. Diese Plakette, ein amtliches Siegel, befindet sich auf dem Nummernschild eines Kraftfahrzeuges. Ein solches Fahrzeug ist sehr häufig unterwegs, und das zum Teil über sehr weite Strecken. Welche Georeferenzierung kann bei dieser Plakette mit dem darauf abgebildeten Wappen sinnvoll sein? Der Ort, an dem dieses Objekt aufgenommen wurde? Der Ort, an dem diese Plakette ausgegeben wurde? (Es gibt viele Straßenverkehrsämter mit Außenstellen in anderen Gemeinden als dem eigentlichen Kreissitz.) Der Ort, an der Halter des Kraftfahrzeugs seinen „gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt“ hat? Einzig sinnvoll hier ist: Location not applicable!

Es hat jetzt doch vlt. länger gedauert als gedacht, aber ich wollte mich erst umfassend kundig machen.

Nachdem ich mich mit Wikidata etwas intensiver befasst habe, sehe ich, dass dort alle spezifische Daten einer Kommune unter einer Quelle gefasst werden. Somit ist die Lage als auch das Wappen ein Datenblock und miteinander verknüpft. Wikiweit ist folglich die Lage des Ortes auch die Lage des Wappens - mit Ausnahme von Fotografien. -- MaxxL - talk 10:53, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
